Additional differentiation would be really nice. Until now, most partners only manged to differentiate the logo :rolleyes:.

The best would be to use some really good coolers on these high end cards (both air and water-blocks), but very few (if any) seams to be willing to go that far. Everybody can OC a cool card.

No, it's more so system integrators can carry on using cheap and nasty PSUs to keep their margins up. If a PSU says it is 850W you'd expect it to run this card OC'd. thanks for bringing back memories of my HD2900 making my old PSU sound like a fax modem.

I really dunno what PSU's you guys are using but I never had any problems back in the day when I was running my good trusty PC P&C 610W, even with high-end monsters. Now I only use >1KW PSU's for testing, so I cannot see anymore issues as far as the PSU is concerned, but I used to overclock some high-end beasts with the little PCP and never had any issues.

I'm not talking about the units most people on here will attach to these beasts, I'm talking about cheap rubbish with really bad Engrish on the box, the kind of '850W' PSU that only has one PCI-E 6-Pin adaptor and blows up with a mild OC and a midrange card in a case with poor airflow.

That heaven score is only 3 more than the 32fps I was getting with 5870 LCS, you sure crossfire is kicking in?

yeah i really had to inorder to use the thing. right now my current card is RMAd so i put that one back in, but was lazy so i put on the stock cooler instead of redoing the water loops.

back on water i had it up to 940Mhz core at 1.35v. had to do a bios mod to get that voltage though, so even with the stock cooler it will still run 1.35v in any fullscreen game. i decided to test that out really quickly, and was up to 93c just loading a game, not even showing any graphics. i was scared to do anything past the menus and quickly quit. for now i play in windowed mode so i dont melt any copper. but it sure was one beast (and i dont get why so many hate it, with the right settings its great)

Well in that case yes sire, you are right. BUT, that has allways been the case with high-end cards and PSU's built on a ship between Taiwan and China. A PSU like that pops with GTX 295, 4870X2 too :)

Could be a newer rev board. Often boards change without those changes being announced, particularly revs for things like caps being in the way.

In the video you have linked i can see the VGA working so i can't understand what the problem is.

Is it compatible with P6T Deluxe but not with P6T and P6T SE?
