The pics I have with the lights on (sunlight through a window) are not very good. I don't know why though. I have some pics that look really good using sunlight, but these just turned out bad. I'm not sure if something is up with my camera or what. Here, have a look...

I think it may have been due to me having to go to a slower shutter speed to let more light in. I don't have a tripod yet, so my unsteady hands may have screwed up the pics.
I like the darker look anyways. Perhaps I need one more light and tripod.

yep, with an tripod, macro mode and ISO 80 or lower setting + 1x 100W lamp the pics would be better. Until you have that equipment, you may experiment a bit with the settings in PS ;)

I have a 100 watt lamp in the dark pics at ISO 100. Macro mode kicks in on the lens when zoomed in past a certain point (I think that is how it works). I'm using it in Aperture mode. It = Canon T1i. Guess I'll pick up a tripod this weekend :) That way I can slow the shutter speed more and not have to worry about my shakey hands.
