Well, 7GHz 24/7 seems a little extreme to me, but I've never had any personal experience with a high end Phenom II chip.
I'll just say, I'd expect these to clock really well (obviously)!

whos says that this thing wil clock higher?
perhaps more cores , perhaps more and faster cache.. perhaps smaller procedee..
Do u seen some CPU at 6GHz 24/7 :D? LN2 and much, much barrels
Extreme OC isnt for 24/7, but for records and stability behind benchmark.
24/7 is for AIR/ Water etc and 4.2-4.3GHz with watter 24/7 is real with retails Phenom II 955 BE. I mean, its possible about 5GHz 24/7 with watter for TWKR edition.
FlanK3r: Source?
The system that guy was gonna try it on is a watercooled unit isn't it? so if its over 5gees on water and goes public, I'm on one like a fly on poop.
but all people are not overclockers and 965 is possible...I mean, 965 will be new revision C3.
it better be possible, deneb is supposedly the top chip for desktops for another 18 months according to some slides i remember seeing a few months back
These appeared yesterday on AMD's Flickr site:

I really want one :(
Even if just for the case :p:
NDA lift should be tomorrow as far as I know (July 1st). It was in that blogger's post a week or so ago.
I really think they should sell these chips, otherwise I think it's a pretty bad stunt. Would be better to show it as ES and make some noize at a PR event with LHe/LN2. I mean, why the fancy box and geeky name if it's not going to be released to market (even though in extremely small quantities and high price). Am very interested in seeing how they perform though.
Some sites will be giving these away.

I apologize if this has been posted already but do take a look :D:yepp:

Some overclocking results..
When i've read the first lines and i saw the cpuz pictures i remained shocked:mad: This is more a bad joke in my opinion from Amd a 2ghz stock frecuency Deneb at 1.44v? I don't uderstand anything... What it's the point of this "Tweaker" It reach 100-200Mhz more on air than 955 and 5.9 ghz on LN2 may be with real overclockers 6.5-7ghz??? .. So why it's "exclusive" , "not for sale' it's just a "haf step forward than 955" and i even bet that there 955 as good at this tweaker.. I'm profundly deceptioned about this, this "Tweaker operation" it's more a market strategy to gain share in overclockers team but hey i prefer an E8600@6.5ghz with 3.33ghz stock low vid than this in my opinion patetic 2GHZ 1.44v which was presented like holly grall and induced the opinion of meny people that started to think that it can do 5ghz 24/7 on air and is highly binned and so on...

We were able to reach 4.0GHz on the AMD Phenom II X4 TWKR 42 processor with the XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 air cooled heat sink. This is an improvement of 100MHz on air, but we had to bump the voltage up to 1.46V rather than the 1.45V used to max out the Phenom II 955 processor. Basically, the processor was able to run another 0.1V more CPU Core Voltage which was good enough to reach an extra 100MHz. During our interview with AMD they said a 100MHz overclock was expected on air and that is exactly what we saw.
