[WIP]evil style tube clamps

i wound like about 40 odd here in the uk :D

Absolutely beautiful clamps! - pieces of art! :up: :cheer:

I'd really like to see a chromed/SS one with a non-stealth hex screw in black - a masterpiece!

(I like the stealth screw revision as well though!)

A gun metal grey finish with a black or chromed screw could also look cool!

If the price is reasonable? and cost less than compression fittings? then this could be a good business for you - so congrat mate, to a very creative idea! :clap:

I like the GOLD one and the RED ... so nice.

GOLD clamps would look cool on ceratin mobos that have the GOLD color NB and pipes and such.

but what happened was the company i was
going with stiffed me and just stopped responding
as a whole... i dont know what happened i guess
they didnt think my business was any good.. ill

You best get it patented ASAP as some places like that one who stiffed you may just steal your idea.

i may be able to patent the idea of using it as a tube sealer for water cooling parts
but the clamp itself is pretty much public domain, not sure what else i can do to
protect myself. we had an agreement prior to talking so they cant steal it from me
and they dont know what its really for besides it being a tube clamp.

Unfortunately this thing isn't practical to patent. The only two defenses you have are (1) make it cheaper, and (2) make it better.

An Evil thread, the only time "That looks photoshoped" is not only on topic, but probably right :D.

These looks awesome Evil. If they're within my budget (once you get manufacturing straightened out again) I'll definitely be interested in picking some of them up. Not sure which I'd go with at this point though, probably either the black or chrome, although an anodized blue might work as well.

So when are these available. The Gold looks nice enough to get engaged with lol

I would be down with 26 or so in the chrome or copper once a price is figured out. I always hated worm drives and 1/2"-3/4" tubing and zip ties scares me a little.

You don't use compression fittings with clamps. The fitting acts as the clamp.

i know... but compression fittings look so cool but then so do the clamps. I was thinking if both could be incorporated even though its more like wearing an earring than a hearing aid (form not function)

Well, when you've got two products that function equally well, the deciding factor is often bling (or cost, depends on how much you're willing to spend on luxury items [in the economic sense of the word luxury]). That being said of course, trying to combine compression fittings and clamps does seem rather pointless, but since it has no real impact on performance, if he feels it will make his computer look better, and he's willing to spend the money on it, who are we to judge.

When those are available, then I def buy some of the black ones :shocked:
Wonder if they could fit a fatboy fitting to 1/2 tubing? Forgive me if it was asked before :p

gosh this is exactly what i want...

im lookin at some other fittings at a hose store..they are very nice but a little to bulkly(i think on the waterblock they wont fit..
but imma give them a shot if these arent out anytime soon..i want..10 black ones :D

You can get a Feser DDC top, same thing as chrome spinner rims :up:
