Well this is cool and all. But I would rather see a chip that was ordered from Newegg that hit 5Ghz on Air.
Thread should be called i7 Special Extreme Edition. Almost....
As you can't talk about what makes them special; that to me alone says this is not a 965 CPU or like the other 99% of them. He did say that these chips are out there, but did not say how many are out there.
It's almost like the adds in the Sunday newspaper to just get you in the store. "We have these cool balbabalab for 200 off, but only for one day". Then you get there and find out they only had 2 of them....

BUT Congrats on 5Ghz on Air. That is amazing no mater what kind of i7 chip it happens to be.
