^^^ nice clock. Is that stable though? Just asking.
too stable :) ill OC it more later
Ill tell you once I get info on how to get higher voltage for the cpu in aod Im already at 270fsb check it out.

heres validation at 270fsb 3.25ghz
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=437028
The highest I can go with 1.45v is 3.3ghz, I need more volts I booted at 280fsb but it locked up on the desktop as I was ready to validate. I need more voltage to push this cpu further.
How can I get higher volts than 1.45?
Messing around with CPU Tweak in my bios, enabling it gives you a nice performance boost. Thanks to the few members in here who guided me on this :)

Wow, your scores are higher then mine"Edit: I mean lower times.. sorry if that was confusing..", what's diff..?

I dont know what to tell you. What are your ram timings, also what speed is your RAM set to in the bios.
damn dude, thats weird, do you have the latest BIOS for your board?
Also, just so you know. At least its the case with me.
When I set the Bios to 1.55v for example. AOD only lets me go as high as 1.45. So if i change the clock or something it automatically lowers the cpu voltage to 1.45v. So I have to do everything from the bios when clocking at a speed that requires more than 1.45v.
set the vcore in bios as high as you want. then adjust CPU VID in AOD. AOD will show stock 1.3v VID. what ever you give above 1.3v VID you will notice that added to total core voltage in CPU-Z etc. Look At my pic below, I had 1.45v in bios, and bumped VID from 1.3v to 1.37v VID. Total Vcore is higher.

Thanks for the info charged, but for me when I set it at 1.5v it alrady show the highest vcore in AOD.
About the RAM, I dont know bro. Seem slike everything is good. I run my RAM unganged as well.
3.3 GHz super pi with CPU Tweak enabled
Looking really good so far

mine also sets to whatever I set in the bios into aod but I guess something is overvolting because I got 1.5v now:up:
Im more happy now :)

21.672 at superpi, but still no stability for my phenom

For sure it's not the temps, as in idle I am around 25 degrees.
I haven't tried more vcore since M3A79-T doesn't let me above 1,53, but I tried all other voltages to increase them with no luck.
How do you keep stable your Phenom's at high mhz??
here is my best Pi 1m so far.. I need to find why it is a lil slower then it should be..It is on my Win XP 64 load. It seems to like my OCs better.

Here is another attempt in Win 32bit XP. I found that 240HT reference (FSB) is max. I have no voltage control for it in the bios. So, I might get my 790FX/SB750 board early..;)

hehe got a little better:D

240 and 273 on the ref clock
you guys know how to rub it in :cussing:
^^^ nice scores guys. I definately need to clock my CPU a bit higher :(
