@slim142 - Nice work, man. Was that your first attempt at sleeving? If so, I'm even more impressed.

well done.
good use of the guide! im impressed
As I am sleeving my PSU I figured I would give this diagram to the thread, I found I needed it and this is sleeving central ;)

Actually what I did was sleeving one by one (on my ATX extension) and draw both female and male connectors on a piece of paper with 24 squares each. When I was finish with the first one, I would write "1" on both drawings and so on. It really helped me :D
Nice tutorial, comes handy cause i just ordered murdermod psychopack!
When you braid the atx do braid in pairs or single cables?
I have been sleeving all day and got hung of the basics. Now problem occurred, i got P&C Silencer 750 Quad (Black) PSU and the 24 atx main cable is white. i found this from the depts of internet ( http://www1.acryan.com/_connectx/ACR-CB4968.shtml ) but didnt find any shops in finland that sell those. And i definetely wont use the white one.
P&C Replied to me : "Comment: Hello Niko,
Unfortunately, all of our Molex connectors are white. You can purchase black ones online, but I cannot determine if there are any retailers in or near Finland.
If you have a Molex tool, the operation should be very easy. As long as your power supply and its function is not damaged, your warranty will remain valid."
so no help from there. Im pretty stuck at the moment cause of this. Good news is my Stacker came from powdercoat ( was cheap ) and looks good.
You can buy from petras
http://www.petrastechshop.com/20pinatxfeco.html
They ship internationally, and have very good shipping prices (I've bought the entire second row in my sig from them)
I think I'm going to buy this kit during the summer. Will you offer other colors? I'd like white....
that will be sort of expensive if i order it from USA to finland. Id prefer europe since dollar is gone stronger against euro from last time ordered from petras.
Caseking.de has them as well.

ok.. i hate to see guys getting ripped off for a molex tool. I'm not sure if there's this drink where you guys are, but if your local supermarket carries this.. the straw that comes with it is PERFECT for removing the molex.

A pack comes with 5 straws, more than enough to sleeve
lol. u asian? :D i find those at the asian market all the time
hmmmnnn ... I don't like you guys in this thread very much right now ;)
All the enthusiasm shown here for sleeving PSU cables got me going. 2x PCI-E connectors and 1x8-pin mb connector down. Just the 24-pin biggie to go. Not to mention scraped up fingers and a squillion flying staples. Pics when (if) I finish :p:
Just reporting back, to say I successfully completed my little project. Sleeved the 24 pin, 8 pin, and 2 x PCI-E connectors on my Corsair 1000HX. Used the murder mods sleeving kit, and STAPLES ... I HATE STAPLES !!!! But, they worked. Forgot to take a pic of my bleeding fingers, but here are a couple of shots on the cables installed - I was too anxious to see if it worked to take any pics of the cables by themselves.

Now I have to work on the best way to arrange the cables ... looks a bit of a mishmash right now. After doing all this work, my view is sleeved PSU cables probably look better in a vertical arrangement ... not all that much to see in the horizontal mb config. Final thoughts - this is the type of project where you get pretty good at it by the end ... but I can't imagine ever doing it a second time!!!
Thanks to Dengals and all for a great tutorial. I'm amazed I didn't electrocute myself, or at least fry my PC.
Great Work Shazza!!
The result was definately worth the effort :yepp:
Im doing the dangals with 2 1000w completely modular power supplies thus I have to do both ends and my god is it taking forever
Nice job, Shazza! It looks like you did 2 wires at a time on the 24-pin, was that more difficult than doing one at a time like on the PCI-E's or was it easier?
heres my first attempt at sleeving

its not as great as some of you who have been at it a while, i don't think i would have attempted to sleeve my PSU if it wasn't for this great thread.
EDIT: for your sake i have edited this post to just use the link, unless someone can tell me how to get the forum to resize thats how it will be.
EDIT 2: thanks for the help guys here you go.
