Pics are more than welcome! That poor little 8800GT should have been sammiched/dwarfed by the other 2 cards! :ROTF:
nice!
I dig the eye candy method!
wow! great cards there! & pics as well!
Thanks BlueAqua a compliment coming from a guy that did this: :bows:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...a/IMG_0510.jpg
means a lot to me, my project seams a walk in the park and was a lot easier reading threads like yours
Awesome pictures you've got there :D Is it possible that you can pm me a link to the original pictures from this shot.
NCIX FTW!!! :ROTF: I got my card from the same place. Prices slightly better than NewEgg and no taxes.
Looking forward to you installing that EK block.
My new shop will open soon. I won't accept anything but BlueAqua bucks. I have a Microcenter in my basement. :)
I felt obligated to stick that 8800gt in there, it was feeling left out.
I need to get some new lighting to highlight the pictures better. Time to work on that, but hopefully everyone will see the pictures improving throughout this thread. That's a side goal anyways.
Thanks! This 4870 X2 is a beast!
You have a terrific build, a build that's really interesting to watch it develop. Don't hesitate to ask me a question about anything. I learned so much when I did the phase/water build, it was a huge challenge.
Thanks. I sent you a full image, let me know if you want the raw image.
Yeah I am really impressed with NCIX. Considering I ordered it on Friday and got it Monday is just crazy. I think I'll shop there more often, plus I don't mind supporting a store with a great guy like Linus working for them. I appreciate his involvement in this forum.
I was going to install the block, but I got busy with other things and messing with my new htpc board. Here
Thanks man for sending me that picture :) That very nice
And today I mount the 4870 X2 Ek Waterblock.
Naked 4870 X2:

This poor video card looks like it's going to get mounted by the block.

I should have more pictures of it mounted shortly.
Mounted and tested to be fully operational.
I had no issues with mounting this block. The pcb is still nice and straight.

If you can get it done straight I think I'll be able to as well, I think I will order my nickel block in the next few days.... I don't have my 4870x2 yet though :D
that block is just sexy!
Wow it's so shiny #___#
Nice work fitting the block - looks nice
looking good BA.
That block is scweet just as it is. I like that look. Check out these washers. You can get them at Home Depot. I used the #4's for my last set of EK Blocks. :2cents:

Mind sharing what camera and lens you are using?
