Noob question... I have a higher read and a lower latency than any of the settings posted by Enjoy, but my timings are all auto with 5-5-5-15 @ 2.1V. Does this mean if I use other settings listed that I will have even better performance from my ram? I use my comp. primarily for gaming.
I'm running at 1002 now 5:6 ratio, 5-5-5-15-2T 2.1V. Best I was able to get stable was 1050 (12 hours Memtest86+). Above that, I got Memtest errors and BSOD. I backed off a bit cause my CPU was getting a bit too hot.

If you can cut your timings down to 4-4-4-12 (i've been considering doing this at 3.6 ghz instead of running 5-5-5-12 @ 3.8hz +), you should see better performance. I had some ddr2 800 crucial ballistix running at 4-3-4-10 and it was blazing fast.
I'm not sure how tight you get tune your ram at @ 3.6 ghz. If I can find the time to get 4-4-4-12 @ 3.6 ghz prime stable, I'll let you know. If you happen to do it, post it here. Currently I can't get anything past 3.6ghz prime stable. I'm guessing its something I'm doing.
Just ordered a set of mine. Can't wait to start testing on them.

I'm just confused that Enjoy's testing results are lower for all tests than my stock settings. Could it be because I'm on XP Pro 64bit?
You have a 50% greater CPU-frequency then Enjoy and your bandwidth and other memory tests will definitely benefit from that.

2gig dimms don't overclock as good as 1gig variants, also these are really cheap in comparison to the better overclockable Mushkins ( that cost 3ice as much) so I really wouldn't complain these deliver the goods for high FSB on a 1:1 lowering to cas 4-4-4-12 hasn't worked above 870Mhz for me, also max voltage I gave these are 2.1 volts... but they work fab at benching 1066Mhz at 2.1 voltsQuote:

I just tried 4-4-4-12 and it wouldn't post above 850 at 1.8 1.9 2.0V. I don't know if it's the memory or if the P5E just doesn't like it :confused: 5-5-5-12 does seem to work @ 1050 2.1V but have not stress tested yet.Quote:

How many people here are running this in conjunction with a quad (q6600 most likely)? Most of the people reporting including EnJoY seem to be running these with dual cores and chips that require higher FSB (allendale). I've noticed myselff that even getting back what I used to run 420x9, seems to be difficult in the stability department for my quad or ram or something else.
This ram appears to be awesome for the lower end dual cores in terms of high fsb ability. I'm still not sold on the quad in terms of high OC, but for the price, I can't complain at all. It does it's job, although you won't see WRs with this kit. Not that I would expect it for the price.
I just bought these for my IP35 Pro Mainboard. I opted for the 2x2GB DDR 1000 Chips.
I'm experiencing an issue though.
When I use both chips in Dimm Slots A. The system will post and boot up fine.
When I try use Dual Channel I.E - use one chip in Dimm Slot A and One in Dimm Slot B. The sytem will not post. The mainboard gives me an error code of C1.
I have selected the correct voltage in the BIOS but still this doesnt resolve my issue.
I had the same issue with some Corsair DDR2 PC6400 RAM. I don't think its the RAM.
Is this issue happening because there are too many issues when attempting to use all 4 slots or one of each?
I need to know if my board is faulty.
Please advise.

I do not believe I will be able to get 465x8. I haven't gotten 500x7, although I think I needed more voltage at the time.
I may try your settings and see if I can get prime stable. I'm first going to get 420x9 as that was my OLD oc before this new ram. I'm so close, 9 more mhz!
I am really enjoying this ram. Too bad I can't use 8 gigs, I'd pick up another kit!
