So they go on to say that the Ultra can be overclocked to 720 which is a good 70MHz more than a typical GTX (can be OC'd) and at such clocks can outperform the GTX in some benches by as much as 30%.
It doesn't sound so insane now at $850. (Did I just say that?)

And an emulated version of DX10 on XP will most likely be slower than "the real thing" on vista :)
like i said i would only be using vista for dx10 not dx9 games. so dx9 vista benches wouldn't mean as much to me since vista runs slower than xp atm and i don't play dx9 games on vista.Quote:

I love how they left out GTS...........:-( wanted to see the difference there.
8800Ultra for $830+ while 8800gtx cost few bucks over 500$. So you are spending 300$ for few extra FPS. Totally pointless.
