Then feel good he didn't place the bar at 100 points :) Sometime this week I've got to try and crack 100 and bolster my current scores, people keep passing me.

50 seems fair to me, the most expensive piece of hardware I have is a E6400 and I've managed to get to 30 points so far:)

I did it with loads of Cellies and Coppermines!! You shouldn't be complaining so much!! It's fine and easy to do. 50 is ok.

Must borrow dads X800Xt PE that i sold him and have a go at the old school stuff. I think I've got the 1.6 LVs cornered. Just have to keep a close eye on a certain Mr. DDTUNG :)

EDIT: Ya noticed your points before Martijn... I'm well impressed. :applaud:

Thats what a good guy can do with a bit of imagination and determination. It don't take cherry picked and uber expensive stuff :applaud:

Gonna be benching my main rig tonight most likely. It is -4 degrees F outside right now, not due to get over +6 F today :eek:

I benched on my Lappy with a P3 700Mhz Coppermine and Ati Mobility 128 AGP2x last night... It doesn't take Top of the line hardware to get points..

Get your coat on & get benching Sparky :p: We're in a good position with this variety of folders to muck about it with, it's just a case of getting the time to organise it all for me. Little gold cups make me happy :D

@riptide I finally pushed my Xeon 2800's, they seem good for 3100 but get very flakey very quickly after that. I'm sure I hit 3300 on those before, anyway DDTung owns that category with 3400 so at least it's in XS' hands :) Good luck with the LV's.

Duh

Sorry guys but I do not get it :S. I have two rigs with BOINC and WCG.. is this of any use for the contest?

The only way I know to get it is to pick processors > Sempron 64 > you will find a small tab up there next to results change it to CPUz then click on the score in hwbot results then take compare CPU

Then when I take a look at your profile I found that you didn’t submit your result correctly as it says CPU unknown so you should edit it and in the CPU area you type Sempron then you select it from the list, don’t type it all by yourself

Then you will get 2 points

I benched my main rig tonight. Got it just past 3GHz, any higher than 334x9 and it wouldn't boot up :( Submitted some results, will do some more later, but I need to get some sleep now and later get my OS back up to full bore (hosed it when trying to tweak the last millisecond out of Spi 1M :am: )

:rofl: Not the PCI lock again! Yeah it's a bad overclock no doubt, you've spurred me into having another go later on tonight, I don't think I explored the lower multiplier/higher fsb options enough - these aren't a pair of cheeky LV's tho' :)

OK this is frusterating as all hell. Ive subitted like 11 or 12 things, and still only got 3 points for my pcmark05 score. Does it have to be a really special score or something to get points? I am still trying to fidure out how this stuff works.

HMM< maybe some errors? I saw you posted a sisoft sandra score with a 6700 I think that beat mine and I know there's no way in hell your conroe beat my 8 core Clovertown..

I'm aware of that..I mentioned sandra because the gentleman posted a score that was I beleive 20K higher than mine and to be blunt, there isn't a home owned machine on this planet that could make that score..

Agreed 100%..Exactly what I meant. When I saw his post I recognised the name from HWBot..That's why I commented..I figure he's making a mistake somewhere.

if you look at his pic of the score it's the mutimedia benchmark and not the processor arithmatic bench :stick:
