I don't see anything wrong with this thread, there is certainly enough evidence to warrant an "investigation". A lot of people seem to think this is all about personal accomplishments, to most it is... to others, it's business...
In any other sport where top scores/runs are seperated by very little margins... anyone beating the top score by such a wide margin would instantly be called into question and put under the highest scrutiny. It should be no different here. As has been pointed out, all they need to do is come forward and explain how the results were obtained. Hero worship is not good enough, and that's the only defense I've seen put forward so far.
I can't imagine (for example) a top fuel dragster beating the WR by a wide margin and when the sactioning body investigates, crawling off and saying "well I just won't run for you anymore"....
At this level, hero worship just don't cut it... these guys should be fighting for a chance to prove themselves.

Until there is DEFINITIVE evidence, I would have to give them both the benefit of the doubt, and keep their heads from the gallows. I think it is just going to be like when the results were posted though, huge outcry from some members. Others proclaiming he should be banned, ... then no real result.
All of these benchmarks come to a crossroad where it is going to be impossible to prove.
Also to the majority of the people in this post. Just a rule for life, never burn your bridges until you are completely sure that someone is faulty. Having been on the side where in the end someone was actually not at fault, after a whole group of people called him out, its somewhat embarrassing. The people tend to not care for you forever. In a situation like this you need to make sure someone is wrong before you jump on the bandwagon.
