Best Regards :toast:
I've noticed MBM has a little more delay than Core Temp or even ASUS PC Probe. Make sure your monitoring interval is set as low as possible in MBM- mine is 1 second, but it still lags a little. I think you can change that setting under the General tab on the Setting display.Quote:

Sorry that I dont have time to read whole thread trough :(
..but can someone tell me why MBM5 doesn't work with my P5B Dlx, E6600 and WinXP + SP2?
Everything is installed ok, but when I double click MBM5 icon to start it will popup something like this:
http://koti.mbnet.fi/dani69/Muut/MBM5_error.gif
Works fine for me under Watercooling. BTW I've noticed wrong temp reporting under 2-stager.

As can be seen, the plugin doesn't show the temparature while running very cold conditions.
Is it fixable?

Does this work for reading AMD64 DTS? If not is it possible to include support for this? We can never have enough monitoring progs ;)
I'm getting crazy, I do everything as it says in the first post but when I start MBM I get sth like:
"Detected processor does not support on-die Digital Thermal Sensor (DTS) readings.
Core(TM) Temperature Monitor Plugin failed to initialize"
Anyone has an idea ?
my mb is GB 965P-(D)S3
EDIT: I've installed MBM like 3 or 4 times and still no difference :/
Same thing happens on my machine sometimes when my wife logs in to her user.....are you the only user loged in at that time when u get that msg?
Is there a mbm plugin for p5n-e anyone know?
there are no mobo specifis plug ins.....the plugin is for all c2d cpus and works on all mobos.....for mobo support instal mbm and choose diferend asus mobos from the configuration list to see what config gives you most information, although you will probably need to edit the config after that
would there be support for gigabyte GA-965P-DS4 motherboard??? a patch perhaps and where to aquire it??
thanks
Ok I'll give it another look. I thought the original guy had ceased development so it wasnt that easy for anything conroe related. I realise this plugin works off the cpu itself though :)
with all the new boards you just have to try it.....yes development was ceased couple years ago but the mobos still mostly use same monitoring chips and that is whats most important, check what chip is it (winbond, itc, etc) and try to find the same one in the mobo config page...or in the .inis .... i might just write a small guide on how to get it working....
This is driving me friggin nuts here!!''
I installed all per instructions and got readings from CPU, GPU and MB fine and dandy in my HP nx9420 lappy..(2c off on CPU but ok).
After i opted for IDE and SCSI hd readings in MB I rebooted and all sensor choices simply dissapeared in the drop down list...nothing there except the hd sensor that now have been included.
Now, I have tried EVERYTHING to get those readings back!!
I have uninstalled the MBM and plugin a few times, cleaned registry, flashed bios, and searched high and low for resident files from the MBM and plugin installs.....still no sensors even showing up!!
I have started and stopped the plugin a zillion times, still nothing...
I do have readings in Everest Ultimate...so sensors are still kicking.
Where in *""#¤¤%#¤%#& are those settings/conf-files that I can't find!!!
It must be related to the invokment of those IDE and SCSI hd sensor readings I opted for..
Please, anyone!!
EDIT:
After reinstalling XP I still cannot get the sensors to show up in the scroll-list.
The sensors are still working in all other apps like speedfan and Everest....how is this possible...I'm baffled!!
FCG ..where art thou??
EDIT2:
I have now installed Vista as well, and I still cannot get the sensors to show up in the drop-down list...but ALL other monitor software works..
Now, this is really torturing me...how in heavens can MBM/coretemp do something to my hardware that makes the sensors to dissapear ONLY for MBM/coretemp..!?!?
any way to do this with amd x2s? i would love to have cores in mbm ...
What is this some kind of joke? The installation of this "update" is so retarded, it must be intentional. There is no reason to manually insert all these bizarre files all over the computer. But the last laugh is on the fools who perpetrated this joke, I erased all that junk and will never use MBM again. It was always lousy program and still is. There are many, many other programs which are far superior and are designed by professionals.
This is an obvious hoax and the Forum Moderators should lock or delete this topic immediately. They shouldn't be allowed to promote their trash on these forums.

Hi Folks,
I wanted to give a big thanks for the work you all have done:clap:
MBM5 has always been my favorite.
I have it working fine with my E6700 and my Asrock board, only Vcore is off.
Quick question, Is there any word on the 680i compatability?
Once again thanks for all the work:clap:

anyone get this to work in vista x64? for me it keeps saying that "the driver didnt load" every time i try to run the program..
Cool...Very cool indeed, to bad I have UGuru Now
Howdy Guys,
I've been looking for system monitoring to put on my desktop and I think I'm going to give this a shot.
Here's my specs:
ASUS P5W-DH Deluxe Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E6320 CPU
ASUS ATI Radeon X1950PRO GPU
Windows Vista Ultimate
I know that this motherboard is supported because I've seen screenshots from people using this motherboard. I'm sure the CPU is supported as well. I'll try to give the Installation & Configuration a shot.
I was looking at other people's screens and this is what I'm hoping to achieve (This is someone else's of course) :

But I would like to also add some GPU values - like temperature, fan etc. Is that possible? Can I add anything of my Radeon X1950PRO to this?
Thanks.
