They use Micron D9GMH IC's, you shouldn't have too much trouble getting the ram to run over 1000mhz
G.Skill 6400HZ has D9GMH ICs which is exactly what you want.Quote:

Your ram list page updated pretty quickly roon!! ;)
I may have to go for the mushkin sticks... As long as I don't have to put a ridiculous down payment on my new car insurance plan :(
Here's a close up of the IC's

Of course, mushkin did their own custom writing on the chips...
What do you mean?Quote:

You might add extra 30$ and get the CellShock for better OC at lower voltages

is D9GKX better than D9GMH?
Yes slightly better however both can reach the same speeds, more over some of the top of corsair Dominator uses GMHQuote:

For some reason I dont think they are Micron 9's ?
All OCZ PC8000 and up uses MicronQuote:

This way the price of RAM modules would drop 25% in the next months.
Can anybody confirm this?
And is it wise to buy RAM now if you have the chance to wait a month?
That is correct. Actually it's already starting to drop slightly. See DRAMeXchange and these articles at DigiTimes:Quote:

Any chance you can contact newegg about this and have them fix it? Blatant false advertising here, probably a mistake, but all the same...Quote:

The handpicked D9GMH sticks are back on newegg for $269.99... Yea, I think you know what sticks im talking about!!!!!!!!! Black PCB with those awesome blue heatspreaders ;) ;)
I'll be ordering a couple sets soon... if anyone overseas needs some ;) ;)
So Mushkin playing with us
Can every one show me a copy of the email he got
Her is mine with a picture of the product code
996533 is black plack I believe... I asked publicly on the mushkin support forums so everyone could see..
That means it Is not newegg faults it is mushkin faults
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...7&d=1170145317
And that is pissing me off
So they post on their website that it is indeed Micron, they guarantee that it is definitely Micron when you ask for it by mail.
BUT on their forum they state that it aint Micron and it are Elpida/Promos chips ...
Who to believe
Those 996533 seem the blue pack (Non Micron?:( )Quote:
