DS3 6300 question.
Have combo rock solid stable at 440fsb=3080mhz
trying 450 and system boots fine, but locks within one minute on orthos/dual SP2004. Raising Vcore mch etc... doesn't help. Diff ram doesn't seem to help. Cpu seems capable of higher.
This is pretty much untweaked board/bios, just changed a few settings like ram to 533 and manually set cas/trcd/trp.tras etc... No other items disabled
if you can help me get higher I will much appreciate advice.

My Epsilon 700 works just fine :)
I haven't tested my 2nd fsp400 though

over 4000 mhz is possible with a e6600 and ds3 retail although this man used harcore cooling ;)
Im having some crazy issues, im using a wireless mouse and keyboard, with SP2 connectors, they work fine for about 10-20minutes of gaming then the keyboard will stop responding, sometimes it wont work on bootup so i have to restart it multiple time to get it working, im using the F4e bios right now... any thoughts on this problem? driving me crazy :(

It seems to be a FSB wall and not a chip wall because dropping the multi to 7x doesn't help at all.

I hit a brick wall at 395 that I eventually figured out it was the board. Then for some reason, it just wouldn't boot with any available ram I had, so it's going back to RMA. It has some other weird problems with my raptor and floppy that I hope were specific to that one board.Quote:

For those of you with a wall at 380-390Mhz, I got past that wall by fitting a 40mm fan to the northbridge heatsink. The board now does 450mhz without a problem. Might be an alternative to RMA. :)

I think easytune 5 read it directly out of the bios. But coretemp via SMbus ?
I'll be setting my E6300 and DS3 tongiht and will set the RAM to auto. I notice you have your at manual and CAS4. Wouldn't it be better to raise that or allow AUTO for overclocking?Quote:
