Yeah the whole 8x not being enough clearly is false from the tests done. Could it be better with 16x? Perhaps. But 8x is functional. This is clearly a marketing issue, and Nvidia would prefer to sell 1 card to the rest of the market or let those folks go to the ATI side of things. Stupid, since they likely make as much or more from selling a card as selling a chipset, but no one ever said they were playing this one smart. lol

After going arround with the issue of which mobo select i think that now a days Intel BA rev3.04 is the best one, given performance and stability shown arround here. And also the fact that has no secrets for lots of people here that can teach and solve issues quickly (thats an important added value IMO)
Just one bad point for me, the rest of the mobos are more Bios-friendly.
But that is a matter of learning and somehow challenge your self, so till the release of the RD600, or NF5 in any manufacturer line up DFI, Asus, Gigabity and so on, i'll go for the bad axe.
So waiting for a Lanparty or an ASUS conroe ready "monster" the 975XBX it's for me the 1st
Little side note: I just called oc-wear.com and they're still not sure if the Infinity boarda arrive this week. he also said I'm about the 50th caller to ask for that board! :D

Don't waste your time on Mix Computer claiming that they already have it in stock, I just called them.
Not to be a party-pooper but if the Intel Infinity line is what the Infinity line is to the NForce4 boards, then I'm not interested. My Infinity SLI can be described as crippled by BIOS underengineering.
So that means the non-Infinity (Lanparty) will have ATI's chipset?
