The Aopen boards should be in Sweden 10th of April. I doubt I will buy one since I've seen the Conroe results.
Conroe will run on the Aopen or not ?Quote:

no :P conroe = desktop
merom will run in aopen if the certain chipset is on it!
Sorry my mistake , lots off exams don“t give me a lot of free ram on my memory to process all the new names :PQuote:

My new dice container already prepared, thanks mrlobber :D
Damn, I have everything but board :(

hicookie: Come on, try the 266 MHz pin mod!
Just chill, we already have the first results, I'm sure hicookie will try to improve them ;)

what kinda temp is it @ 2.9ghz? and is it at stock v.core?
The problem is, being a mobile processor, the current boards that I have seen don't have any multiplier adjustment at all. The Aopen board (which looks to be the best one) doesn't, so you're limited to overclocking the FSB, even on a Yonah ES.Quote:

Thanks, I sure hope I can get a mb soon. Those spi times just blow me away.
so 259 is max fsb? or the max from the chip?
max from the chip, aircooling. :slobber:Quote:

remote control,can adjust above 255+Quote:

Too bad I'll be forced to sit next to my rig anyway since from time to time, the DI container needs to be filled with dry ice while benching :DQuote:

lol that is stupid to limit fsb in bios but allow more fsb from remote control since it comes with aopen.
mine,

I don't have datasheet, but I hope that my modding for MSI's mb helps you.
Though my old post has already pictures,
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...&postcount=485
But I re-post it here for your convinience.

I think that Pin#19 of ISL6262 is Feed-Back.
Good luck:)
kyosen, you should be geting Aopen board real soon?
You connect BSEL0, BSEL1 and BSEL2 to ground for 266 MHz, or BSEL0 and BSEL2 for 200 MHz. See my post here, your mobo corresponds both to the PD column and the CD column since it's a 975 chipset but uses slower CD CPU's. Since BSEL2 is already connected to ground when using a 166 MHz CPU you only have to bother about the other two pins.Quote:

Ask the Dothan people how you perform the mod, it's quite popular among laptop users. Here's a guide, since it's a PM they're using other pins for the mod but otherwise it should be the same.
The old corresponding mod for Athlon XP allowed higher clocks on nVidia mobos, I'd say it's worth a try. Just make sure you do it right.
Yeah, here in Akiba/Japan, it's expected thatQuote:

same here in europe, our suppliers told us that mobos should show up tomorrow in their stocks :)
Yonah - OK
IHS on Yonah - OK
Cascades - Checked and OK
New evap mounting - Working on
Mobos - ??
:D
ok, got my laptop (T2400) and did a single test : PI
about 31", results later.
going to install the T2600 later on, after I played with it ;)
any working overclocktools maybe ?
very thanks! 大箸、Mats:banana:Quote:

hicookie, I've just ordered a step8 :)
Thx for the advise, I'll write difference on my 2 CPU's once mobo's here.. :)
Gonna test it with Heatkiller rev.2.5 + 10 deg water (dont wanna insulate when changing CPU during test sesson)
- Afterwards I'll give the best a shot on a mach II, (tuesday or wedensday all this will happen)...
Wedensday / Thursday LN2 action will happen UNLESS my mem sucks, then I'll order a pair of G.Skill 2GBHZ (PC6400), they should do about the same as SuperTalent :)
M.Beier> my board has boot coldbug at-50c:rolleyes:
find some issues,945GT can set 3224,
aopen set it 3224 in bios, but cpuz shows 3228,
3224→3228
3225→3229:slapass:

wtf, now for AMD we have coldbugging cpu's and no-coldbugging mobos, while for Intel - vice versa? :slapass:Quote:

Put the torch of the propane bottle in the pot...and start firring in the upper levels if you need to warm the mobo after the bsod in order to get warm faster...:D
eh, an update here for anyone in the USA...
Ingram micro still = no stock
*sigh*
They couldnt give me an ETA, it isnt even in their computer system yet.
:( :( :( Looks like to get it soon one will have to get it in another country.Quote:

This doesn't really correspond to the BSEL pins since you only have to connect one pin to ground to go from 667 to 800 MHz.
There are 9 combinations and only 2 documented, maybe 266 MHz is available there too. If we knew the setting for 533 MHz it would be easier to figure out. Although I'd say it's safer to do a pin mod than making undocumented jumper connections.
This is warming up .
Lets see all those 2600 ES under ln2 :P
10s pi is the next quest :D
