Avg. Run Time Per Result (y:d:h:m:s) 0:000:01:57:04 Sweet..
You should be able to pull off ~580 WCG points per hour with that setup. WCG lists points/hour of runtime which is per core, so multiply by 4 to see your rigs total production per hour. It will take a few days for the validation process to catch up with your production though.
Just noticed I made it to 500k during my holiday. Finally :D
don't get jealous get NewEgg :ROTF:
Well, well...
I have loonngg and intresting storry about work and hardware shop :D
Oh I love stories! Especially the ones about geek pr0n and pics like a playboy that is all silicone not just the uuummmm.........you know. :hehe:
<<<<<<< Save the uuummmmm's
no Error and Invalids are not normal and are bad. What is your system pieces that the error's are on and what clocks?
Edit: NM I see the sig now. It is that system right? Are you positive it is 100% rock stable? WCG will not be happy some times even when the "bench mark programs" are. If it keeps up drop the clock back 200mhz and see if that helps.
Hi...not sure if you want full log and clocks do you mean my cpu in sig?....both look similar...here's the end bit.

that looks like it random reboot that BOINC hadn't written to the hard disk and was unable to restart or recover from.
Hi mysticmerlin...i think i know the problem...when i primed it and passed i knocked the vcore back a notch...and although it has'nt shown to be unstable it obviously was...so i just put it back!...just hope i ain't got any more like that.:( ....thanks for clearing that up i will keep an eye on it.
I had the same problem with my first run @3.7, backed off a bit and all seems to going OK... I can't wait for these hot days to end or to get a better A/C unit. :D
I don't think Vista 64 and BOINC are playing nicely. Every time I shut down all my WUs are marked error or invalid. I know they're not done because I shut down before they're complete. Next time I boot up, it grabs NEW WUs... grrr.
Hi guys...just checked and altogether over the past 3days so far i have 18 valid... 12 pending...errors 2 and 1 invalid the newer error don't even seem it started correctly....my clock was prime stable and my temps running WCG dont break 50c...what do you think?.
Here's full log of last error.

2 errors in 3 days indicates something is wrong ...
Are you sure your system's stable? How long did you run prime (small or large fft?)
Hi Jaco...i gave it 6hrs+ small FFT's
Have you messed with ram timings maybe?
My mem is Geil pc6400 ultra running around 948mhz C5....vdimm 2.25v...it should be ok as have run memtest in past....i have just raised mch from 0.15 - 0.25 + fsb added 0.05 and NOW my vdimm is @ 2.25v....so see how it goes.
Hey Hey Hey!.....i got 10k woot!.:D
Too right movieman.
I remember starting, August 29,2006..and waiting, and waiting, and wondering where the hell were the points for all the work I was doing..and then in app 5 days it started to happen..
Next stop for me is 7 million I think and I only have 3 machines on the project in my name..It adds up..
Next stop Movieman :p:
You gonna be lucky to last the next week out!
so you found the culprit then?
Well i think i need a new set lol.:D ...get 1 error @ 2.1v...they are rated up to 2.3v though...if it says working voltage 1.9v-2.3v does that mean they are ok? although it states on the sticks 800mhz @ 2.1v
http://www.geilusa.com/products/showSpec/id/65
Oh and thanks for letting me know.;)
My "good" set are away playing the RMA game..got some crappy sticks in now. I think when my MB blew up it took the RAM with it.
I did my first 10k points today. :)
great job kik! keep up the good work!
nce once
Hi Guys, I am a long time lurker here at XS, but I would just like to say that I think I just hit 500k points, and am looking forward to bringing more in! My name on WCG is Tian Rui, since Terru was already taken. I run WCG on my old p4 3.2ghz, an e6600 as well as an x2 3800+ and my own rig.
The other day I was at Montreal university neurological lab where my girlfriend is doing her PhD in neuroscience and I noticed Boinc WCG graffiti on the walls and filing cabinets, with the link to the webpage’s! It seems that the word has really spread! :)
I just hit 100K boinc points! It took a lot longer than I wanted, but I'm still limping along with my cruncher rig and 700m laptop while my main rig is down due to EVGA givin me the big one with my motherboard. :( On the plus side though, I just received a Q6600 I bought from dave_graham, and there's already one in that batch that I've seen do 3.6ghz under water. I can't wait to rebuild my main rig with this thing!
Well guys guess what... i am now @ 35k lol...and the best part is from the start i have only been running my Quad@60% lol.
Why not run 100% all of the time. My main system has a quad-core. It runs BOINC and many other things.
Your system will generate more heat and your electricity might go up a little. But you will generate a lot more points running at 100%.
I am now running @ http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/4823/cpunw7.jpg  ...if i only new from the start...all those wasted points.:(
Great
yea, havent really been active on the forums, just actively reading :D
ive passed the half million mark (bout 2 days ago) and am averaging about 25k per day... trying to get more! but ive only been here for a little over a month, and am rapidly climbing the ladder here. :)
I gotta get a quad:hump: :hump: :hump:
LOL come on man, please dont do it!!!! I just need a little time. Trying to figure out if id be better with a true quad, or 2 cheaper AMD 2 bangers. Was thinking that if i could figure how ta work an extra 10 hours while on on my next hitch at work, I could pay for at least a AMD dual setup, with out slowing down my payments on the E6850. On the bright side im gonna bring my 19" flatpanel home so i can get my AMD 2700 on line. That would add a bit more.
Gator
;) All in fun..
Best bang for the buck is the Q6600 but never take me serious.
I also only tease people I perceive to have a good sense of humor and will know that it's just fun harassment..
Now that NJKID guy, or especially MysticMerlin, watch out for them..Brutal!
No worries Gators have thick skin. And very tiny brains. So i doubt there is gonna be a problem.
Gator
I suggest a Q6600 if its gonna crunch.
I have a few of each type-
As an example since I started back up and the Quads(q6600 and qx6700) have done about 140+ each since the Aug 28th (Not at 100% dedicated) the AMD 6000+'s have done 104 and 72. The 72 count unit doubles as my main home server for 3 weather stations, DNS, web, email etc...
Just my two cents and ever growing electric bill, cant wait for some cold Texas winter days to try out my new collection of heaters
Thanks for your help. The message sometimes gets lost but we really do appreciate all the help you guys give.
There's so many plusses to this. The science is the main one but then there is the people that you meet through this.Just great folks. They all have one thing in common and that is they are "giving" people.
You know what I mean. We meet too many of the other kind every day.
Then there is the side benefit of the boost that it gives to Xs.
People in high places start to see what was perceived to be just an overclockers forum in a new way. A community of people that are trying to help the next generation. There isn't a price you can put on that.
Ok, enough for one night before my fingers give out.:D

WTF are those???? Its been so long since ive seen cold weather i forgot what it was like. Kinda like sex, its been so long I forgot who gets tied up. I drove up to Ohio lats jan, and it was in the 50s. That was pretty nice but not what id consider cold. Any way at least in a month or so it wont be quite as hot. I hope.

Yeah I just looked.....for a min I thought you had 2 wcg accounts :p:
BTW.....did many xs folk run grid before it puked?
If you mean UD, then yes. I did. It was my first DC experience. Started with two or three machines. My Dad had just died of cancer and I wanted to do something.
I ran UD first with PC911 and then Bitbender's. Made it all the way to 150th place, but eventually became disillusioned with UD's administration, direction and lack of responsiveness and so I moved on to FaD ( first with xtremepccentral and then ended FaD with BBT ).
BTW, I hit 5,000,000 yesterday ( BOINC WCG )
GOOD work, I'll come lookin for ya next month:DQuote:

I'm in the top 50! Finally made it onto page 1 of total points!! Man it was a heck of a climb from #100 with all the XS powerhouses flying by me...lol. :ROTF: Next milesone looks to be a triple play. 20 years run time, 20 million points and 50,000 results.
congrats, olympic.. :D:D:D

Yup...almost 10am....time for my nap too :D
