Someone get him out of here before I get my gun!

Even water has limited effectiveness against 35-45C room temperatures :p: And it still has the same problem where all the heat is still being dumped into the room, except now I'd have water on everything, so I'd be tempted to OC it even more :p:
The stock clock things might be an idea, though :p: Put the E7200 in the desktop (gaming rig) and get it clocked nice and high, and have both quads running at 2.4-3.0 GHz (3 Ghz requires like 0 voltage increase).
What I need is for dad to donate a bit of his shed space so I can set up some shelves there with power an net, that way I can move the server and wolfdale in there, and just have the gaming rig in my room...
Eller
hmm,( but Sig sent me the idea thru mind meld, He is bad that one and the force is strong in him, the darkside)
Maybe your the ideal person to try that 55 gal drum buried 4ft underground where it stays close to 50-60F year round..
( If it's a dumb idea, blame Sig!
mount a car rad outside or under your house and built a mass water cooling system.................
Or you could just not run it 24/7. :sofa:
Oh BTW my E2180 @ 3.0 (I hope) will be up on WCG in a few days.
Damn, I like fart_plumes new title..
and golly jeez, he just went off line!
It's on now Dave!!!,lol be expecting the unexpected when your not looking!!! .......................Muhahahahahaha............. ...

There's a lot of Canada where the ground temperature never gets above freezing. I believe they call that "summer" there.
What's funny is that isn't the case except up in the very North.
I was 500 miles north of Montreal, almost 1/2 way to Baffin Bay
Ice out first week of May, by 4th week of May temps in the high 80's, by August it's a hothouse but snow by last September most of the time.
Friggin black flies in late May will eat you alive!
I got over 100 bites one day with netted headgear on.
Forgot a bandana on my neck and they thought it was 5pm at Outback Steak House!
Who said i was complaining, just reminded me of it......................
Everone like Dave's new avatar?
I'm confused. Is the smell worse before or after they're . . .
Uh oh, I may have already said too much.
As long as it's not someone's fantasy . . . And if it is, I don't want to know ANYTHING about it. M'kay?
Gah, swapping the E7200 into the desktop has not gone as planned.
Under water:
Q6600, 3.6 Ghz @ 1.43v = 60°C load
E7200, 3.8 Ghz @ 1.33v = 70°C load <--- WTF?
It's half the cores, only 200 Mhz faster with 0.1v less vCore, and yet it's 10°C hotter? It's not the temp sensors, since I had it at that clock and vCore under an SI-128 and it was hitting about 60C load, so it's something with my loop... But literally the only thing I changed hardware-wise was going from the Q6600 to E7200...
Eller
You didn't get your waterblock mounted c#ck-eyed did you?
Karl.... what can I say...... just take ownership of the shed!
The 4 quads in my garage make it into an oven! lol
If I owned this house I would put a shed out the back just for quads with a hole in the ground as Dave suggested to keep things cool!
Just tell him its for a good cause and that this will move the heat outta the house and reduce the aircon bill etc etc etc
Oh yeah and with regards to your temps I think it must be something to do with your mounting. Also I do remember that some CPUs have different tmp readings depending on they type and program etc so maybe check that too.
