i have tested 1104 Bios, before this Bios i can´t set with this settings on Multi 10

Changelog:

1. Enhance compatibility with certain memory modules.
2. Fix system might be unable to wake up from S3 status via certain Gaming USB Keyboard with USB2.0 Hub. (Might be the Razr or OCZ keyboards)
3. Fix "System Properties" under Vista OS might report incorrect CPU frequency of certain Intel CPU when EIST is set to enabled as well as CPU multiplier is set to any N/2 value.

Has anybody tried priming with the x64 version in Vista x64??. I can do prime x32 24 hours stable on this board, but prime x64 hangs after like 4 hours?? I will also try 1104 and give it a shot.

Wierd problem with 1104. I had both my keyboard and mouse connected to the USB hub on my monitor(DELL 2001FP) and the monitor's USB up port was connected to the S2E. Everything was fine with 0901. With 1104, there is a lot of input lag with both the keyboard and the mouse. So, I have for now, disconnected my USB hub on my monitor and have connected both the keyboard and mouse straight to the board. Anybody else having problems with 1104 and a usb hub.

If the performance is ok now, doesn't that seem to point to the usb hub?

M1L2 Very nice results. I'll try tonight, I dont think I will be prime stable, but hopfully I can at least post with 1.5 vcore.

Running 1104 now just tried some 1800 linked and synced no go even with ram at 9-10-10-28 2T.

1702 is still best I can get. I think the OCZ just cannot handle anymore.

Slim, is this the bios that will go on the asus download site. I would want to be certain, there won't be a bios of the same version w/different changes.

Maybe that's my problem:shrug:....I haven't been more than 6 hours priming without a freeze or hardware failure error....usually, I'm lucky if I get past 2 hours. I'll have to try XP32 this weekend.

I received this BIOS and it was stated that it was the latest beta released on 9/18.
Give it a try if you are going crazy with compatibility/stability :up:

The usb hub was fine with the 0901 BIOS. So I don't think it's the hub and the BIOS settings were the same. I flashed to 1104, did a CMOS reset, loaded up the 0901 stable settings from the BIOS profile, boot into Vista and it had terrible input lag. I connect the keyboard and mouse to the board direct and everything is fine. :shrug:

Sorry for not being clear on this. I used the Prime x32 version in Vista x64 stable for more than 24 hours, but x64 Prime on x64 Vista hangs.It's just an application hang and not a total System hang.As soon as I kill Prime, everything is normal.

my best try was with 0704 Bios and the OCZ3P1600EB4GK

args, this was with my C2D E6600 with linked and no sync, not with the QX
tRC 40 and tRFC 100

That explains it. Quads are SOOOO much harder to OC with 4GB of ram. too much load on the NB I guess.

Idk yet since I havent tried any BIOS higher than 0901, but I feel like 1104 is a good BIOS, will see if its true :D

Hello boys
Could someone be so kind and help me OC this rig to decent speed? I was thinking like 4.8Ghz. the biggest problem i am having with ram cause i dont know the right timings and voltage! At factory settings i get 18.000 in 3d mark is this normal?
