The board has a max FSB of 333 but the chip will do that at default volts, so you should be in good shape until they do:D

i went to frys and saw a week 29 e6700.. too bad im not paying that much. but that will let you guys know how far some of these are out

sounds like Intel are binning these chips way ahead and then selling the leftovers. sooner or later they will have to let a few chips slip since not everyone is willing to lay out that kind of money for highest end chips.

Sorry it took a while to answer back. Anyway, here's are my settings for 3.600Ghz (400x9), all of them are set in BIOS so take the vdroop into consideration.

vdimm: 2.30v
Vcore: 1.500v
FSB: 1.40v
MCH: 1.55v
ICH: 1.20v

Thanks, we're about the same. I'm really hating this P5W DH. Can't wait till I land the new revison. The board will not get into windows @ over 423FSB. How the heck did you get 450 out of this board!!! Dividers are no go either. I think my week 28 chip is better than the week 27 but it won't pass orthos above 400 FSB for long no matter what I try, just as you said. My resources are reaching their limit so its going to come down to keeping this $411 week 28 combo or swapping it for the new rev. P5W DH when Fry's gets one.

Yeah I was playing around with it a little bit I was able to boot into windows @ 423 from BIOS, I haven't tried pass that. When I did the 450 (which was in no way stable, just enough to get the CPUZ verification) I actually booted into windows @ 400 then use ClockGen ;) for the rest. However, other voltage settings were maxed out (i.e. Vdimm, FSB, MCH and ICH). Give it a try.

I don't get this company - The website is a base install of an open source software, which in and of itself, isn't a problem, but clearly they didn't put much time/effort into branding it. They don't have a "real" domain name, and I've never heard of them.

My COST on 6300's is around $193 on the low end, so how on earth this no name, basic looking site can sell them at $175 is beyond me.

isn't 175$ per e6300 less than what they would have paid for them from intel? =/

i just got a L626A from newegg, i placed the order last friday night, sept 1st and i got it today.

My $319 free shipping plus tax in CA oem tray from fry's outpost.com was a week 28 e6600. My handpicked week 28 one from Fry's Fountain Valley Ca was $329 plus tax for the tray e6600.

outpost looks like the best bet for a week 28. More risky with the egg. Its like they don't sell all of their older stock before they start selling the newer stuff, then 2 or 3 weeks later they ship more older stock.

I think its because they have 3 warehouses. The one in Cali is suppose to be stock with the latest AFAIK. So it depends on your location to determine which warehouse ships to you.

The ZZF deal is sweet ... what E6600 is the best overclocking one right now?
