Just have to say this. Anyone having problems removing pins, do yourself a MASSIVE favour and buy Nils pin remover tool!!! I cant believe how well it works. Them damned corsair cables just fly out now. If i'd got this tool when i started my psu, it would of been finished weeks ago.
So big thanks to Nils!!
Hey guys and gals, Has anyone tried this for sleeving?
That stuff looks interesting--it also looks like it would be a dust magnet. The trick would be to sleeve areas not affected by airflow.

wow - ultimate work! Congrats to Vietnam thienloi :)
I really like to see the yellow. Very rarely to be seen, but one of my favorite combinations!

If the gpu would continue to have this subtle yellow black theme, it would look gorgeous!
The yellow n black sleeving would look kick ass on the old yellow gpu's, forgot was it zotac or palit.. either way nice work!
just received my mdpc-x sleeving kit today!!! i'm at work right now so i can't do work with the cables :[
good things to come tho!
nils-- as always, loved the personalized picture on the packaging :]
my parents were like "why the heck did you get a packaged from germany" -- had to explain that quality > convenience :] cheers!
I have to tell you.. even tho it ended up being pretty expensive (in USD) mdpc-x.com has a sleeving quality second to none that i've seen or heard of.
If you get a sleeving kit, make sure you get the ATX tool!!!! It was sooo much easier using the tool that Nils sends you > the crap you buy from other companies.
I will do business with this company in the future and would recommend it to anyone looking into sleeving some cables!
cheers
Thanks Nils i got sleeve today.
Let the pictures talk :D

I intend to do on my black and red, or black and orange
do any of you have guys experience sleeving Antec PSU's? I've having a HORRID time trying to get the pins out. I have a Antec CP1000 PSU that I need to sleeve and I can't get the 24-pin cable sleeved because I can't get the pins out of the connector. I was the atx pin remover in this: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/11...tl=g44c133s256 but it didn't work at ALL. I decided to try a different atx pin remover that worked much better (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/38...tl=g44c133s257) I learned that the trick is to get the tool on the sides of the pin, PUSH IN the pin all the way, THEN insert the removal tool all the way to get the pin released. Worked everytime with the 8-pin cpu power, 6+2 pin pcie cables, but NOT the 24-pin ATX cable.
Can you guys advise what I should do?
24 pins generally acquire much more force, all i can really give you is push the pin to the front and at the same time put the tool in as far as it can go, Pull it with quite a bit of force, be sure to pull it straight and hard.. Should work..
Get one of those pin extractors from Nils, makes the job a hell of a lot easier. ;)
i've been sleeving with the SeaSonic X750 and the Nils tool has made it a 2-3 second process for each pin. I do struggle with my corsair 650hx, but the tool is fantastic
Does anybody here sell MDPC-X sleeved extension cables? Looking to get 24pin,8pin,2x8pin,2x6pin, in black/red. Or maybe refer me to somebody that sells these :)
I think you're violating the rules with this post, buying and selling outside the classified section is against the rules, as well as asking for it. ;)
From what i've read it seems user Crysisgamer is doing some sleeving for other people, you might want to send him a PM. Don't know for sure though but he's very good at it.
Nice sleeving dude, what colour blue is that? Looks mint with the black!
