lol i'm running 6 of them i was using a znxt mesh fan controller but i was getting a ticking noise from the controller or the fans (depending on speed)
now i'm trying to find a 5 or 6 bay controller that is flat because of the door on my corsair 550d case if you have any ideas i wold be appreciated :)
lol i cant believe it its the 2 controllers i was looking at but not sure if its worth paying the extra for the laptron i know that are the best for quality so hhhmmmm i might just go for the lamptron and know i have something that will last a long time
thanks for you information on this just have to wait till i get the money now :)
LOL, cool. I mean how many times are you going to buy a fan controller, might as well get the good one.

Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000.D 1TB
Antec HCG-400M
Thermaltake Frio
Asus 24x SATA DVD burner
Corsair Carbide Series 300R
Almost ended up with that case for an HTPC here in my home but I ended up with the 550D
Your cuz is must be very happy with that. nice build!
Double posting.......sorry my fault.
Thanks you guys, means a lot. :buddies:
After showing him how fast it was compared to his laptop that he got a few years ago he was astonished. I kept telling him over and over that SSDs are the way to go and he now knows why I picked that out for him. He has an older brother who is also in college (going to be a junior) and his computer is a lot slower than this. So I have a feeling he's going to be jealous after his little brother's rig. :hammer:

Hi,
nice colours
R8, I like the use of that backplate. Those ASUS triple slots can be pretty hefty :p:
i changed the cpu cooler i got sick of the h100 making a grinding noise so i sent it back and got a prolimatech megahalem black cpu cooler
plus i done a window and put lights in it as well plus it switchable on and off
all my fans are on a rocker switch so i can keep them on 5volts or 12volts at a flick of a switch
let me know what you guys think

Here's my new build. I added a second 5870 and watercooled them in a CM Stacker 830. Since these pictures I've switced motherboards and upgraded my cathodes to color switchable LED strips.
I'll post some pics of those when I get a chance :)

guys im having a hard choice of choosing 1 of the 2 fans i have
the corsairs are better performers but even with the new fans (coolermaster turbine master 0.8)
its keeping my rig cool but i just cant make my mind up what ones look better
please let me know what you guys think please
these are the fans on the websites you cant really see the new ones properly due to my camera
corsair

coolermaster turbine master

Stick with the Corsair ones for your heatsink. The CM Turbine Masters are built to be case fans, they're not designed for a heatsink. Just look at the static pressure... 1.29 mm/H20 Corsair vs. 0.42 mmH2O Cooler Master @~35CFM. I think to Corsair ones look good on it too.
This is an older X58 build I have.
