I was able to SPi @ 4.25GHz 1M - 10.656s 32M - 12:31 and some change
However, I got greedy with memset and tried to drop timings too far (or simply did something I shouldn't have) and have either
a) already borked my RAM
b) pushed the chip too far
c) need to reload Windows @ stock settings
I'm thinking I'll try c first before I go out and buy new RAM or a proc. :D

what priority should be set to orthos for priming ?
saw people priming at priority 1 when some set it at level 7
Setting a higher priority will supposedly keep a more consistent load. It sets the priority of orthos vs. other applications running in windows. I've never noticed a difference in results. Meaning in my case if it fails at 9 it fails at 1.
Hi all, very impressive overclocks... I just installed my E3110 today. I seen a few posts that do not make any sense to me.... I only ever adjust the cpu fsb... so 8 x 500 would be 4000mhz.... but I seen someone in this thread, running that but getting 4500mhz....
is there some other setting I can alter, to maybe get a better overclock....
my 9 x 480 failed and rebooted my computer, but 9x478 is still running right now.... but I am using high voltage (1.6)....
once I know if it is stable... I will play around, but if I am missing out on something, plz let me knowwwwwwwwwwww
thx
ahhh, thx!
I got mine stable at 445x9.0 (1780QDR -- 4.01GHz) at 1.425v Vcore (1.39idle in windows and 1.36v under load) Runs great, I got a below average batch (Q76A366).. needs a crap load of VCORE to go up from 3.83, which i had running at 1.3 underload..
hallo can somebody tel me where can i find this?..
stepping 6C0
week Q746
code A518
?..thanks i m amateur
If you buy retail, the "week" and "code" are both on the line:
FPO/Batch #: [Week & Code]
So for that example it would read:
FPO/Batch #: Q746A518
I believe all e8400's are C0 stepping at this point.
I have to check my..
your E8400 has got good voltage in high oc..
cause i ve got all my HW in boxes and still waiting on my case..
i can t wait....so should be write on his of processor yes?..
I'm at 450x9, memory unlinked and prime stable with 1.375 vcore. Where are you all getting these batch numbers? I thought that 1.375 was pretty good for 4.05ghz.
Here is my Xeon 3310 I`m heppy for now:)

Will barely boot windows with 1.4v.
Meh.
