We have all Week 26's. So far anyway... I may try and order more, but sorry, no 27's :(
:( no week 27, some people are getting week 27 so I thought I'll get better chance of getting week 27 from TankGuys tonight :( I guess I'll wait for your next batch

I've thought about it - but if you really think about it, it would be a bad idea for us.Quote:

Option 3 is that we get crap overclockers... bad OCer, opened, and used? Worth very little :D So having 1 good outcome out of 3 makes it a bad deal :D
Even posting weeks/steppings is potentially bad for us. In general, I can't buy specific ones, it's luck of the draw. When I get lucky and get good ones, it's great, but when I get bad ones, they are tough to sell.
After all, you have a business to run.Quote:

Visited my local fry's, they had 20 E6600's intsock L627's but are $379.99 + tax. The L627's seem to be getting great results but $410 seems too much to try a second one. Besides my $369 newegg L626 is now priming 3.4ghz 1.368vdroop 1.4v in bios with all other voltages set to auto except ram. Looks like the $350 L626 @ tankguys are the best buys for decent clocks right now.
Fry's huh? Hmm might need to swing over there. Cant believe they are selling P5W for 299 + tax! But I guess their return policy is pretty sweet. I'm see if they got some L27s or might just wait till x6800 gets lower :)
Now, does this (when I say this, I mean been a great OCer) apply to all Week 27 (i.e. other than E6600's) processors? I have a X6800 Week 24 that I would like to try out but I don't know if it's going to be a waste.
My week 23 X6800 isn't too bad. :)

I have a feeling that the early weeks were binned harder for the X6800's and E6700's, and that's why the 6600's of those weeks tend to be a little sluggish.
Extrapolating, I'd say this CPU of mine is most likely good for 1M around 4.1-4.2GHz on air. X6800 retails usually are surefire bets, I don't think any of them clock poorly by any standards.
Got my E6600 from tankguys today, and it works perfectly. Moderate OC to 3GHz was a snap.
Thanks!
Just got a week 27 from Newegg. Sweet
