I got my L627A795 (week 27?) from etech4sale today. I ordered last thursday and received today w/ the cheapest fedex.
[edit] ohyea... it was like $350 and some change. I ordered there because they had cheap P5D ($215) but now it hasn'te arrived yet :(
Anyone have an idea when the OEM E6600's are coming in. Outpost has been preselling for a couple of weeks at $319, but they seem to have no clue when they will come in.
Fry's/Outpost had orignally pushed back 6600 availabilty to mid September. Just last week they started selling a few ahead of schedule , but its a crap shoot when & what they get in. My local Fry's got three last week. They were all gone within an hour. Price was $379 + tax so not really worth it other than you're not buying blind. If you plan to overclock I wouldn't buy from an e-tailer that can't tell you the week code. The extra money will be worth it unless you don't mine a bit of a dud like mine. Tankguys will have weekcodes posted on their website Friday I believe. I think they're worth an extra $30 unless you're really on a budget. Too much!!! 1.65 in BIOS. 32M is not stable though and I haven't tried anything else in between. But as you all know I have reached the FSB w/o mods for the P5W Deluxe which is around 440-450. Anyway I think these are some really good results and definately the hope is there. :banana:Quote:

few people are reporting that they got week 27 from shopblt.com so if I can't get it from TankGuys tonight, I will try my luck w/ shopblt
I'm stability testing my week 27 @ 450x8 right now. fsb is either board or memory limited to 466 (i booted at 480 but not stable at all). Max is currently at 3.74GHz with a 13.7s 1M PI run. This was all with 1.6vcore (bios)... i'll push that up tonight and 4GHz shouldn't be a prob. for me either.
