Yeah it is dual bios. How does that work exactly and what does it mean if it goes to the second bios chip? Does it mean the first one is corrupted or something?Quote:

Yes, that's what it means. A BIOS has a checksum stored in it that is being compared with a checksum calculated on the fly upon POSTing. That way the board's BIOS' integrity is being verified.Quote:

What could be causing cold boot issue?
Sometime when I fresh start PC, it will fail to post and shows the OC failure message. I just go in bios and save and exit and after it boots fine.
Anyone experienced same problem? what could be the cause? The PC is stable in windows, linx, prime and gaming.
Happens to me a few time. I had more of it with F6, slightly better with F7. Probably a bios issue.
I read that EuP can cause that so I enabled it, also I bumped 1 notch more on vcore and qpi/vtt ... will report back if it fix the post issue.Quote:

and model to model.i put in my settings for 21x200@4200 1600 6-6-6-20 1t from my
ud3r and worked perfectly.same thing with my three ud3r's and three different cpu's.

Quick question...
is there anyway to control the fans from the MB fan headers?
I have 1 fan in my system, and i can still hear it.
when my machine is idle i want it to shut off, but when my machine goes into 100% CPU load it would be nice that it turned on.
Hard to beat the deals from microcenter on these i7 cpu's. My best clocking i7 also happens to be the cheapest, 179.00 for an i7-920 at microcenter several months ago, sorry to see them go away.Quote:
