BLT's prices seem very fair, and since it seems very likely that they will be getting some E6700's and other conroes in stock in the next few days, I'm betting theres a good chance my chip will come from them :)

565 for boxed isn't bad at all. I don't expect the price to drop much more than that as long as the tray prices are, what? 530'ish?

Yep, I ordered from them yesterday afternoon - Retail E6600 ($369) + ASUS P5B Deluxe WiFi ($223). Altogether, $606 shipped and no tax, yay! :) ShopBLT has even better price ($345) but not in stock yet and projected to perhaps have some today, according to their realtime status. But I wanted to get this over with and ordered from ISORM :lol: This morning they called me to confirm it and let me know it will ship today. So far, so good...

Haha, man these guys are great! :) I just called them up and asked If I can have the price adjusted, since I ordered last night and was charged for a CPU $369 this morning. A sales rep (Matt) said "no problem" and I'm back to $359 :lol: Sweet! :toast:

Haha nice! Yea they are pretty cool and kept their promises. I'm suprised they still have some left, I thought everyone would hop on it by now. I know mine is coming today :)

The only way that any retailer would drop it down that low is by making it a loss leader and making up the money by only offering it for that price in a combo pack or something (CPU+MB+Mem).

I think the prices shopBLT is offering them for now is probably about as low as youl see them until there is some kinda pricecut (probably at _least_ not until the kents get here, so don't hold your breath for that).

I'm glad I waited tho... the prices at BLT now are after all ca 150USD lower than neweggs original monsterous 700USD pricetag for the E6700 ~_^ It does make a difference, especially when im buying three of these (building some systems for various friends of mine).

I just caught the E6600 at the 'Egg for $369.99 shipped. The $10 difference from my TG order is more than justified if I can get it sooner.

I finally broke down too and ordered from ISORM as well. www.wiredzone.com couldn't nail down a order fulfilment date and i ordered it back on July 17th.....

I ordered from ISORM with overnight (Saturday) delivery. Call me crazy, but I want to play with it this weekend.

It's only money....:rolleyes:

Haha, I went the other way as far as shipping - UPS Ground. My order has already shipped and is scheduled to be in CA (cross-country trip) on Friday, 25th. I'm not in a big hurry :) I hope you get your Saturday delivery, though...

Wooy!! got my e6600 today from NCIX. Sorry for no pics sincce i do not own a webcam, but hopefully this is a sign that others will be getting their e6600's as well. Oh can someone give me a quick tip as to where the stepping and week dates on the box orcpu so i can post it? Thanks

read the serial number ON the processor that starts with L6
for example, a week 24 would be L624 for the first 4 digits and a week 25 would be L625

Thanks guys, mine reads L625A740. Looks like i got a much wanted week 25 CPU. Version # says its a D6 if im reading it coorectly and the pack date is08/07/2006.
