Sigh.............  :(
You must've already been charged for the item. I would have bought elsewhere by now. Heck I'm thinking of getting a 6700 instead and selling my 6600. I thought the 6700's would be closer to $700. $600 seems pretty reasonable during a launch & shortage.Quote:

I saw the thread where Cather tested different grid and 600 turn out to be the best.Quote:

She said that they are getting a bunch in though. So I ordered one today. Hopefully I am in line. If not I at least get it cheaper than almost anywhere else. :/
Overnight shipping too so I will hopefully get it the 22nd or 23rd [23rd w00t! THE DAY I START SCHOOL!]
About when did you place your order?Quote:

july 14th? uhh I would have cancel by now. There are plenty of e-tailers ready to ship you some Conroes.
An update on my ClubIT order...
Ever since the debacle on launch day, ClubIT has been trying very hard to make nice with me. They agreed to honor their original deal, and my 6600 has shipped, though I do not have a tracking number yet. They also sent me a t-shirt and a copy of GRAW. I also got a call from an Intel Field Sales Engineer, and they are taking the blame for the mixup, and they also want to make me happy.
Although the ball was dropped on Aug 7, ClubIT and Intel are bending over backwards to ensure that I am a satisfied customer, and I have to respect that. With this kind of dedication to customer service, I have to think that I will be dealing with them again.

They certainly just screwed me that way. They showed ASUS P5W DH DELUXE instock for $230 so I ordered one. Total came to $247.00 with usps priority shipping. Next day I contacted them due to lack of activity on order status. They told me they did not have it instock. Said their website is not real time inventory status. I asked them to cancel my order. Later that day they called me left message said they had 'em. I called back, was put on hold forever, so I hung up emailed them saying go through with order. Today they finally update that my order is no longer cancelled. I sent email enquiring about when it would be shipped. I asked to ship today or I will pay for usps overnight if they ship tomorrow. Got two emails later. One saying send $64 for overnight, the next saying your package has shipped USPS Parcel Post!. I immediately called, they said your order has not shipped yet. I gave name of person who sent email they said no one works here by that name. I said I paid for usps priority. Was told we'll make sure it get shipped out that way..click. Rude     ing person. I'm certain it will be next Saturday before I see this motherboard.:mad:Quote:

I'd give BLT a call. There was a problem with my card(used shopsafe) and David called me up this afternoon to straighten it out. Seemed like a decent guy. Did you change your order at anytime or anything like that?
This was for a 6600, just for the record.
Yeah, I was close to cancelling once or twice and just getting a 6400 since I've already spent a small fortune on a motherboard, ram and a bunch of watercooling equipment. But I ended up getting a retail 6600 for 355 shipped, which is a bit less than Newegg, ZZF, Clubit and so on. It worked out in the end.Quote:
