SDkevin..awesome work
That is a PA120.3 in the bottom? ..fans in a pull setup?
Doesnt PSU block some of the fan performance?
The HDD mounts are fixed on the top and bottom as well...did you have to modd that as well?
Hey SDkevin, can you post a pic of the bottom of the case? How did you mod it to allow the fans of the rad to pull fresh air?
sdkevin: thats how i am going to (attempt to) mount my rad in the bottom of my v1000. Although I am not going to have the hdd there as well... Very nice setup.
Yes PA120.3 is at the bottom w/ pull configuration, PSU doesn't block the fan performance since this is a pull configuration, PSU only block the part of airflow but it doesn't matter at all on this setup. I have the HDD rack cutting in half and reverse it so I can have better wire management, w/ pull configuration which helps to cool my hard drives very well, not only I have fresh air pull into system and provides somewhere airflow to PSU tooQuote:

BTW, my case is not on the floor :) too dangerous at the floor, as far as I know carpet is radiator killer. I had my case on the table at all time so dust don't get into my case that much, I did the mod w/ jigsaw
Those are some nice cutting lines man. Nice job. Close ups of the DelRez!

so you can unscrew the HDD mounts and reattach them? wow..your work is awesome...Quote:

yes you can unscrew the HDD mounts by using a drill, then reattch it by rivets.Quote:

Let's Start whit the hole i did for the Thermochill PA120.3 Radiator.
I did it using a Jigsaw, Steel File*, a Drill and Finaly but not least... Some Strong hands!
I began by tracing the hole whit a rule and then started to drill some hole to get the Steel blade of the Jigsaw into the case...
And boom the hole was Completed after an hour. Filed of the sides of the hole and added some Black Electrical Tape all around the hole and it was done.
PS: I feel like a noob posting what kind of hole i did for the Radiator... Posting right after the Master of cuting holes for the Rad... **Cough**sdkevin**Cough** :P

When the Rad and all the Job was done, I added some mosquito net to Prevent the dust and all other stuff.

The Systeme itself is More silent than my previous WC set-up. because of thoses Scythe S-FLEX™ 120mm Fans Ultra Silent. Also as you can see i added the CMS Crosflow fans which blow cold air from outside directly onto important components. Oh and the Temps droped a lot from my Previous set-up!
Thanks To all Of you Guys That helped me out on which Radiator to get and all other stuff!
Next Updates: Adding an X1900 Crossfire Edition whit another MCW60 GPU Waterblock. Also Getting Swiftech's Storm Waterblock. And Maybe an Viewsonic VP2030B 8ms 1600 x 1200 Monitor :)

I recently did a new build around a x1900 crossfire card I got a good deal on. Several hundred $'s on top of that led to this. I had the following goals...
1. high performance on demand / low power idling
2. Efficient
3. Quiet
I am absolutely blown away on how good this computer does on all three fronts. :woot: The Opteron 148 runs at 2.76Ghz (11x251) in games and at 1.02GHz (5x104) idling and using low power apps like DVD viewing. (Thanks to RightMark's RMClock and microGuru from ABIT). In quiet mode, it is essentially inaudible and the system has enough reserve heat dissipative capacity to run the fans at 7 or 8 volts and still handle stress tests like Madden 07 at 14xAA 1600x1200 with flying colors, e.g. CPU at around 45C.
Other watercooling stuff in there...
Thermochill PA 120.3 <----THE RADIATOR for low airflow usage!
Swiftech 6002 (CPU) and MCW60's (GPU's)
Swifttech pump (The blue one...you know the one!)
I don't think you care what HDD's, keyboards, mice, power cords, etc. I use so I won't put in the whole list. Case is the Lian-Li PC-G70 with the optional HDD rack installed. I removed the original HDD rack to make room for the radiator. Great case BTW.

I have a Stacker T01. They're nice and all but nothing really for looks, but man, vkbms, that has got to be the sexiest Stacker I have ever seen. Good job man. And I like your rad mount on the bottom Patriote, will prolly do as you did.

P.S. Still waiting on Petra's DDC top before ordering may loop...........
vkbms, very nice integration indeed. (come se non l'avessi mai vista prima... :D )
Wise componets choice. ;)
Bye!
I have a worklog in another thread in this forum, the link is in my sig, but I'll just post a pic or 2 here...
