Can you tell me what are your nš on black stic ?

Just got a L745A675, VID 1.2250v *coretemp & everest*
Pack Date 01/10/08 and has a shiny new designed box
im occt testing this now @ 3.942Ghz 1.496 Volts *cpu-z*
ill take and post screenshots after occt finishes its thing
is it typical for lower vid cpu's to heat up faster at lower volts rather than higher vid cpu's? i have a 737B668 VID 1.325 and it @ 1.64 it gets to 66C when running occt... this one is hitting 70C right now during testing.

*edit it passed occt 30min mixed so now its time to throw it on prime and fine tune the cpu*
Hmmm then mine is opposite to what you are seeing, at 3.405 GHz only needs 1.184v, 3.420GHz need 1.20v at 3.6GHz 1.232v.
The fun begins currently Priming it jumps from 1.2375v Bios for 3.6Ghz to 1.300v Bios at 3.7GHz. So the linearity in voltage scaling has just completely disappeared So far 3.5h into it. Will post all my results when done.
Hmm well I can get 3.2ghz Prime stable with only 1.25v load, But atm Im still working on getting 3.6 stable. I can get 3.85 3d bench stable, but I was hoping to get 3.6 stable with low voltage for 24/7 use. Well I'll see how it goes, Im up to 1.32v load, hopefully it's stable now.
my q6600 has a vid of 1.2125v but runs so hot!!!!
why?
are higher vid cpus better temps wise?
Well it wasn't stable at 3.6ghz with 1.32v load, now I am trying 1.34v load, and I hope it is stable...
Don't know, I've asked before, but I never got a straight answer. My ambient is warm, I'm only guessing but about 25-27, and with prime running at the moment, 3.6ghz and 1.34v Load, my cores are around 56 degrees
EDIT: up to 1.36v Load now. It would seem this is not such a good chip.
Anyone else got L737B579 ??
EDIT2 : I for now will call this stable @ 3.6ghz with 1.35v and under 60 degrees on the cores. Just under 2 hours, but I will continue and let it go over 2 hours, I dont bother much after that, if its under 60 degrees and stable by 2 hours, it will never crash for everyday usage.
People can you all post your Q6600 OC like this ?
Q6600 @ 3600Mhz Vcore for Prime stable / Batch# / Nº on black label in foto
It's to make an List and to try to find if this nº on black label is the right thing to search for better clocker.
Thx all.

:p: Sorry my bad inglish. :shakes:
Any feedback on Q6600 L740bXXX ?
Maybe gonna try one of these on my mach2 modded on fdi p35
Thks.
I finally got my Q6600 G0 L743A863 up and running on air. As you can see the VID is 1.2250v.

Is it possible for VID to change?
My chip has always been at 1.2375v. Just reformated and now it's at 1.1625v.
Awkward?
Or perhaps SpeedStep is able to adjust it somehow?

i see so many d-tek fuzion users here...
so its agreed that the fuzion = awesomeness?
how many of you are using the nozzle?
I have a wall with quadcores on my ASUS P5B deluxe, no way to go above 410MHz, so can't test my maximum overclock...
In any case, it looks like quiet all Q6600 chips has a 3.6-3.8GHz area where the linear relation between vcore and frequency is lost. That is, above a certain overclock, you'll need much more vcore to only get some more MHz, so not worth it at all

very nice chip!
im jealous. I got mine when they first came out, seems the new Q6600 batchs are much better.
NICEclocks on these new chips!
******
wow some nice clocks on low voltage with these new batchs. I should pick another up before they are gone for folding, and put the new batch in my main rig. 1.3v @3.7ghz and stable is very good.
here is a run I did today
http://img2.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/9076480f67.jpg
This chip is stable @ 3.689ghz max @ 1.44v, 3.6 the same or a little less. anything over 3.7 needs to much voltage imo for air, the extra 100mhz isnt worth the degraded life, especially since it runs F@H quite often, need to replace with a new batch, and retire this quad to F@H only in my shuttle case on top of my cabient.
*sorry for triple post* had a spaz
I think it's high your vcore...look at mine:
4230 @ 1.63 on normal watercooler, in case setup.
http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/1...6gts800fc2.jpg
4200 was stable for bench @ 1.58v, but the next level on bios is 1.65v, from 1.60:

FSB wall hold me on that, giga X38-DQ6 has serious problems overclocking FSB on quads...same CPU did 510Mhz on P5E3..prime stable.
Rbs.
I ordered q6600 go yesterday cant wait till it come
any idea if this cooler can handle some overclocking or shall i buy new 1 ?
