uhm, ocz psu's are usually good. ocz makes modular psu's as their low end models, i would say the only modulars to buy are the ocz's. there is ma logic. iv'e owned one and it ddid very well until itt wass WC, SLi, and 3GHz time along with new mobo. but anyway that aint what i came here to say

gocchin! wow you have some of the best parts there! like i mentioned before, the ONLY 2 PSU's i would ever run is a fan modded OCZ or a S12!!! and you have em! THREE OF EM! wow

I've owned a few OCZ. I prefer my enermax. If i had to buy a PSU know I'd get an Enhance 600 or a Silverstone ST-60F (same psu).

Enermax and PCPC are the brands to go for. I've only used Enermaxes and PCPC. I only recommend Enermaxes for friend builds and use both myself.

Zippy/Emacs are one of the high quality units, along with PCP&C..... everything else is obsolete but.... still good.

I dont give a toss what PC&P say, im not a buying a non-modulare PSU every again. Leftover cables are dumb, and I refuse to have that stuff lying about my case anymore.

Esp as performance-pcs make moduler modded PC&P PSUs that still ahve the full PC&P warranty. Hence, the whole "modular cables bad" things is FLUFF.

Just because most manufacturers are too lazy to do it, you shouldnt fall for obsolete non-modular PSUs anymore, same as multiple 12v rails is pointless :p:

youre free to believe what you want, but i ask yourself this question: how many connections and plugs are used industrial high-voltage power?

if you want to fall into the trap that some "goldean ear" hi-fi maniacs fall into about the effect of wires on signal - guys who spend 200$ per meter on cables, and 400$ on "power cleaners" and buy into platinum-coated plugs - youre free to do it, but the truth is that a well-built modular psu can supply just as much power as a non-modular psu, and power thats just as clean.

Its not about modularity or not, but about build quality.

and youre a nub if you believe otherwise ;)

I looked at a few reviews and they all said the same thing :( here is a quote from one of them...

maby it suits you fine, but if you loaded that PSU for what it's rated for I can guarantee it would crap out.

Its like comparing your Hiper(Honda) to a Ferrari (zippy or pcp&c)

I didn't know Hondas were bad cars. I bet you can't drive a ferrari everyday like a honda.

I didn't compare it to PCP&C cause i know they are better, this psu is in the antec, enermax, ocz category. I just replied to your claim that "all modular psu's are crap". Furthermore i believe that i have a system that stresses it quite a bit... ;)
For it's price it's a very good choice, performance wise, plus it's one of the most beautiful psu's out there. :)
That's my 2 cents.
