i'll work on it. it seems to be prime stable at 295.9mhz using the settings shown earlier with that 296.7mhz sPI 32m shot.Quote:

enjoy.. :(
i guess it was bound to happen eventually. best of luck with the replacements. i've seen a few sticks using the .16TD1 ending, i think crucial did something to the PCB on those sticks.
I'll most likely test and sell the replacements. In my main rig, I can't afford an unreliability. That's for the test bench... :p:Quote:

i have some .16td1 ballistix that came from rma last week. they are running right now at 278mhz at 2.54v shown in systool, bios says 1.56v they can go up to 295 -300mhz on that voltage depending on some timing tweaks, but right now im running it 1:1 with my opty 170 using 10x multi hope these suckers last cuz i hate the redline mushies i have thay cant do anything over 255mhz at any timing but they are fast i give em that. well ill c what happens with these
295.9mhz got en error in the prime95 blend test after just under 4 hours (left it running last night as i went somewhere), so i'm currently priming at 295.17mhz ;)
I just recived this message from tank guys :
We are very unlikely to get enough memory to cover this order. We're placing this in back-order status so that you will at least have a place in line, should more arrive. Please note, however, that at this point we have no ETA, and it's very likely we will not be able to fill this order. We're trying to get more shipped in from the Taiwan plant of Team, but we cannot promise any dates are any availability.
I'll be keeping an eye on their site and here for any changes. /me cries!
This sucks
I need a set of 2GB YESTERDAY, and these are defn. the top sticks out there right now. Guess I have no choice but to buy the HZ's :( Which I don't like much.
just email teamgroup's sales and see if you can get a pair directly?
Yea OCZ coming out with similar sticks so I guess I will wait for those instead.
haha, I emailed teamgroup about ordering a set directly about 2 weeks ago, before tankguys had them. Still no response
BTW Team does have other stuff besides the Micron, I checked tankguys today and saw 2 new sets of Infineon PC4000 2GB, one 2.5-4-4-8 and one 3-3-2-8. If the 2.5-4-4-8 is really Infineon, it would probably do 2.5-3-2-6 at stock speeds
And of course they have the UCCC, I actually cancelled my Micron set (I was probably the first order, but I want to do 4GB sometime) and bought a set of this :) I will have a new thread on Saturday with some preliminary 32m numbers
I posted in TemGroups forums about purchasing direct. No reply yet. I posted this morning.Quote:

all right, good luck ;)
also, i figure 6 hours of prime95 blend is enough. haven't had any suggestions as to what i should do for 3d testing, but i think if i can do 6 hours of blend, it'll take any game i can throw at it :D

also been working on 32m. maybe i should give it a go when my room is really cold. 2.8v got me an extra mhz :woot:

ps- for those who wonder why my tras is at 1.... it helps stability a weeee smidge. *shrug*
;)
Damn SSooo close.
Not necessarily, I have to tweak my TREF and drive strength to hell before I can be stable in games, even after 24 hours of blend. This is with 2 different ultra-ds, 2 different dual core opties, and 2 different sets of ram (ballistix/hz)Quote:

Ozzi, try dram idle timer = 16 clocks. I found with my ballistix it was not only faster but more stable. Give it a try.
Sucks 2b us who want these sticks :(Quote:
We appreciated your interest for our cronus series 2GB kit with micron chip module. Unfortunately, the reseller/distributor you contacted in US wasn't lying about the limited supply on this particular ram. I promise www.tankguys.com to delivery the parts by mid of March; feel free to check with them next week. I apologize about the frustration that you been through to get it, and we are trying the best we can to solve the problem.

well, get to work on suggesting something that will prove stability to you instead of saying what won't? :DQuote:

it's helping a bit. tried all of em from 256 to 000, and 016 was indeed the best. not enough to push me to that 300mhz mark.. it's more of a "feels" more stable. sPI runs are lasting a few extra loops, that kinda thing...Quote:

Too bad you can't buy them in the states..
^You can, tankguys has them, just unsure of how many they'll be able to get
Team isn't making them for long..
NO you can't because those are micron chips and there are absolutely ZERO Team micron chips on this pageQuote:
