I did put my FX60 on the cascade today though.

From what I can tell it looks like it is good up to -60C.
Looks like I'll have to dust off the DI container for this chip.
On the bright side, it saves on the electric bill:D

ooooo, OPP and DI.

I bet thier is alot of dust on that container lol. Time for a change I guess. A new aproach to tackle the FX.

I bet your neighbours would be happy with you not using the cascade, they will be getting some electric for a change so they can watch TV :D

-60° sounds like a good one to me, most of them bug at higher temps than that :)

Actually I like it when I use DI, which is very seldom.
It's so nice and quiet:D

I have the new 7800 on water, I think it will be a good clocker.

FX60 3D proofed sofar at 3488MHz.
It likes -38C on the base plate of the DI container.

Have yet to see a dual core Opty bench @ 3.5+, but an FX60 can maybe run through @ ~3.6-3.7G Max (so far)

hardly... Highest I've seen is FX60 around 3.6 by kinc? Or was it 3.5ish? Either way they don't clock high. Mainly because of cold bug. Air to dice gained me 250mhz because of cold bug on my 170 :( KILLER for 3d03 05 06 though. Single core can't touch them in those.

No one on xs has an FX-60 that passed 3.6Ghz...Kinc's one is at 3.5ghz.

A Dual Core FX-60 at 3.8ghz would be equivalent to an FX-57 at 4.3ghz for 3dmark05/06, so yea, no one's past it yet. ;)

suicide. He ran single pi also. Not even a single hint at dual stable at any speed. Not worth anything.

I use MPS Multiprocessor in Windows, 1.85V, and very little denatured alcohol.
I can keep temps between -40 and -37 pretty stable.
When I leave Windows it's over though,:D the bugger goes up to -58 if I'm in the bios.

Just after I posted the the 3488 screeny I was a victom of condensation.
I figuer when my 7800s are ready for action I'll do the Dry Ice again, I should be in the 3500s for 3D06.
