My thoughts exactly. Hence why i pre-ordered the Venus. Also not to mention AM2 is going to be an immature platform with loads issues (maybe), but either way it will cost you a lot of money to upgrade and find out.Quote:

Well, damned if they do, damned if they don't, but this press release by DFI is surely a sign of times:
"Due to some problems we encountered with regard to the LANParty UT NF4 SLI Venus edition gift box, w e'd like to announce that we will not be able to make the delivery on time. The quality of the box didn't meet our standard therefore we have returned them back to the manufacturer and requested for an immediate replacement. DFI only wants the best for our customers and truly believe in offering only good quality products. Please accept our apology for this delay and thank you for understanding."

Maybe the box couldn't hold up in shipping. Better to have a delay than a crushed Venus, but who knows?

It was clear already judging by the pics in this thread: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ighlight=venus that the box was the crappiest thing one can imagine and definitely not something you wan't to see reaching your end users, especialy with a supposedly top of the crop product ment to celebrate the brand's 25th year in the business.
