dual core doesnt help for the current 3dmarks. if the new one is multithreaded then it will help.

right now dual cores are too slow(too low mhz) to beat a single core setup.

Ok then why is my 2.9ghz dual core DESTROYING FX's @ 3.4-3.5? Nvidia and now ATI drivers take advantage of multi thread and the power shows big time.

It's been explained to me that while 3dMark the PROGRAM itself is not multi-threaded, the Nvidia DRIVERS are.....that's what's making the difference.....;)
