frozen I had the core to 850Mhz and I never had a chance to get a ss before condensation stopped me. This card has undergone some very harsh threatment with getting it wet several times while it was on and it keeps on going. Frozen a few times too.
I wish 3Dmark showed my clock speeds. Cant wait for an approved driver.

I was able to reach 954Mhz on the memory and 800Mhz on the core on 52c water and an AC blowing in the side of the case. The memory is unreal but the core wasnt liking the voltage at that warm temp.

Lol, the core wasn't liking the warm temps...It only gave a 300mhz/450mem(900ddr) overclock on water (60%/90% overclock) If that's bad, then i'm cool with bad.
500--->800 core
500--->950 ram
That's pretty damn sweet. Awaiting some phase results, but dang, i'm already impressed.
I'm all down with some benchies if you're willing and able...That would be interesting to see stock vs. v-mod+better cooling on an xl.

for us average cooling people, how high would the XL go on stock cooling and stock voltage? and how are u oc it, I thought CCC didnt go higher than 575?

With the stock XL cooler I was maxing out around 560Mhz on the core, 575 was locking up.
If my watercooling had the capacity (no chiller) I would be able to run bench the GPU at top speed.
The memory is fine at that speed, no artifacting at 900Mhz for me. 954 is where I seen artifacting.

hey not a bad little tool. Adjust clocks, volts and fan all in one little app. I like! what temps were you getting at 1.175v and 625mhz? That is a nice little 125mhz increase from stock and already matching XT for less price and availability. I want to get a card now too. Anyone finding one manufacturer doing better than others in terms of overclocks or are they all the same? Locally I can only get OEM and RETAIL Sapphire.

I just got my sapphire oem today, but i'm waiting for the rest of my new system which should come in tomorrow. I'll have plenty of new things to test and OC, but i intend on OCing the videocard as well, to compare with what others are getting. One thing i noticed while examining the card, is it has 2 tiny dip switches on the bottom side of the PCB, does anyone know what they are for?
