Just like eva2000 did in his report on Ballistix - P95 with 1.6GB allocated. That's some stress :D
VERY nice Charlie....can't wait for some A64 action.Quote:

I think I need a new CPU my Newcastle doesnt mesh too much with 2GB I dont think......
What is the CPU to get with 2GB?
Hey Dean. I did 3d benching at 270 3-3-2-7-1t 2.7v I am still trying to get 275. I tried tightening up and did 2.5-3-2-7 at 250, again with 2.7v. I haven't tried anything less than 2.7v but I did try 2.8v, which for me didn't help net anything higher than 280 @ 3-3-2-7, but maybe it'll help at 2.5-3-2-7.Quote:

What? Where? Who?!? Plz tell us Charlie!Quote:

I think it may be a 2GB mem controller issue.. I cannot get beyond 280 either dividers or not with my G.Skill 2@1024 so.. strange huh?
Anyone compare these to the Ballistix?

Well I can see the latency of this new OCZ is much lower than the Ballitix this is likely due the 3-3-2-7 timings even at 285MHz...
Netshop have them here in Norway.
Been looking for some new ram these look the part, will they be available in the UK? if so when where and how much?
Cheers :toast:
well fedex just threw the box into my garage. picked them up and lifted the heatspreaders. the ones i have are ce-6. infineon chips arent very expensive so it explains why gold pc4000 2gb with uccc is more expensive
This entire line is CE-6, which is VERY cheap compared to UCCC.....the fact that it does cost $300 is from the binning costs at OCZ.
does that mean we could find some cheaper sticks that do just as well? Or are these crazy high binned?
The more recent CE-6s have actually been doing very well all things considered--there was a part out for a short while that was CE-6 and was cheap and almost did this well, but currently this is it....I bet they'll start putting the ones that didn't make the cut into their budget lines.
Other manufacturers will also start using this IC, so who knows what we'll get.
Just to let you know, my patriots, which are BE-6, can also do DDR500 2.5-3-2-6 no problems as yet. I'm hoping to get them to 255mhz with some proper tweaking, now that i'm running a DFI board.

so the question is, assuming these arent uccc, which would be a better buy, these or something uccc based? given ballistix are kind of out of my price range
CE-6 is better, IMO.

Yeah Andrew posted his results in places like i4memory and Bleedinedge I believe.Quote:

Has anyone tired using lots of volts on these yet or does that just start making them error?
