They say it is going to rain, but what do they know. All it's all a guess anyway..
OT: I hear some have problems with dividers..more of a cpu thing or a m/b issue

here's where my 3800+ 0601 tpmw is now.

don't forget to uncheck "no affinity" for proper dual core stress testing
I was always curious about that, does it mean that using no affinity makes the chips more stable or what? My experience has been that using no affinity doesnt increase stability, it just makes it impossible to tell which core is failing.
If you uncheck affinity then you have a prime95 for every core.If you keep it checked then windows will see both of sp2004 as one application,so it'll use just 50% of your cpu!
The checkbox says "No affinity", so unchecking the box means "set affinity to core selected". Open 2 copies of SP2004, select core 0 and core 1 and uncheck the boxes.
Also, install seperate copies of SP2004 in folders called 0 and 1 and rename the executables to 0-sp2004.exe and 1-sp2004.exe; this way they have their own ini and log files and you avoid the "can't read file" problem that one copy otherwise gets.
Got my LDBFE 0607 SPMW off phase and back on stock air. It's having a bit of a fight with the Ballistix beyond 2700. I let it dual prime for 90 minutes at 2700 / 1.392v, so pushing it to 2800 and beyond ought to be a breeze. But it locks up or crashes the desktop at 2700+, volts make no diff and I know it's memory... although a divider makes no difference either. It never behaved like this with the HZ, so it has to be the Ballistix.
So I don't know if I should go for G.Skill HV or just be happy with 2700 / 1.392v for the time being. Might leave it like that and run Rosetta on it for a while. :)
Here what was my mach 1 @ r404a along with my 3800+ did today: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=83647
And this was with the worst mount ever, load temps were like +25C, so I couldn't perform any benches or tests at high speeds :slapass:
Hope to get a better mount some time this week and pull the remaining powers out of this beast
really nice chip :)
 nice chipQuote:

Got it stabil on 2770mhz too :) but it is running just fine on 2800mhz too
and it is bench stabil at 2.9ghz :D
http://home.no/smy/dataromme/sp%201m...%202900mhz.jpg and 01se too
not bad for aircooling ;)
Hoping for 3.2ghz stabil when my phase cooler is in the house :D
Here's mine so far.. :( it scales horribly but I'm hoping its my psu causing that.. guess I will find out tomorrow if it is :D

2.7ghz takes 1.55v in the bios..
going to be using BURNK7 for a while to try to get 2750 stable on same volts... only lasts 9 minutes @ 1.55v bios atm..
Core 1 is quite a bit weaker btw..
Running a custom blend test in prime seems to be quite a bit tougher than using small FFT's. I had to up my volts by .025 to get stability.

1.60 volts is the real voltage, Cold.
Is this your newest one, chew* ? Niiiiice. :)Quote:

With TCCD same as allways for me 7/2Quote:

Most of my stuff is set to auto, I'm not very knowledgeable in ram/memory controller tweakings.
I want to know because in some cases it helps you last longer in prime when you are reaching the limit of your proc's ability. I also need to be able to hit 300+ mem clocks in order to take full advantage of my incoming 7900gtx and get awesome benching scores.
I got my LDBHE 0601XPMW today and started testing. Stuck in my bh5(all I have as my OCZ pc4800 are in rma right now) Set the bios to 1.52v and cranked it up to 280x10 with a 183 divider. I am watercooled and the temps were in the 28c loaded range. I got it to 2950mhz before dinner. Installed the hot fix and registry edit, and now tomorrow on my day off, I am ready to go for maybe some 3000mhz action:yepp:
Nice Millerdude. That is about the same as the XPMW 0601 that I am ebaying.
Glad to see yours is humming along.
I ran a 3dMark 03 run today at 3005mhz and got a score of 32733..need to do some ram timing now...needs 1.52v to do it. I have not tested with prime, but 3d runs okay with a hicup or two every now and then...3d 06 passed at 2959mhz and 3d 05 at 2997mhz..
does burning in really help the OC? I am going to leave the ihs on..killed a 148 opty once by removing it. It arc'ed to the bottom side of my water block and killed the cpu and the m/b...

You can allways set affinity in task manager... The bèta version of SP2004 has better affinity setting, had some problems with the previous one, so I allways used task manager to set affinity....Quote:
