i think you buy that on your own. anyways...looking forward to this board. hope most of the issues with the NF4 boards are gone, mostly the sudden death of boards and dead memories.

I'm pre-ordering one of the DFI mobos when they become available. The three DFI mobos I've used have been a whole bunch of fun. I'm not sold on the idea that the ATI chipset will out perform the NF4 based on overclockability, but Crossfire looks like it'll have some advantages over SLI. I suppose there's no chance the launch of this board will coincide with the launch of the ATI VPU. :(

I hope the USB doesnt have high CPU utilaztion and slow performance, like what was reported earlier this year about ATI's SB.

I'll hold off on ordering untill i see some review tests/first hand user results.

Suggest to wait until its mature, look at all the troubles they have with LP Ultra3 agp.

:woot: Wow, this mobo looks like it will be worth the wait when it finally comes out. I echo rebel900's question though. I already have a Sapphire X850 XTPE 256mb already, will I be able to use just this video card until I can afford to by another X850. After reading all the posts in this thread I think the PSU should work very nicely with the DFI mobo.

As I understand it yes you can use your current card, for crossfire you will then need a crossfire "master" card (another x850xt pe but a crossfie edition) to pair your card with.

The Ultra D ????, yes it fits the Ultra D............JUST :) , one of the pipes is only ~ .5mm away from a fet heat sink

man They do this all the time.... :clap: good Job DFI...very neat layout but I think ULI chipset would have done the job (only adv. SATA-II). Also why dont you people start selling your boards in Mumbai, India at proper rates... but not like ASUS :slapass: always insanly high price.

:dammit: I have my ABIT AN8-SLi on the way.... and have no no more money left.

Still I really doubt ATI will make the call without CF Edition cards available.... after all this is a CrossFire board, right???

Although this is a little off topic, I thought you guys might to know Anand has a preview of the CrossFire motherboard and a CrossFire master card from Gigabyte.

seems like the delay is really driver related. The hardwares are there, just the drivers are still buggy.

Just sold my aging K8N Neo2 & need one urgently!!!

Don't wanna rush out & get an Ultra-D as I'd be sellingit as soon as I can get my grubby fingers on XFire...
