Hmmm, I just checked (searched 7800 and gtx), nothing. Do I have to go through the whole graphics card submenus to see them?

EDIT: yup, apparently you do have to go through the submenus to get to them...all three (eVGA, XFX and Winfast). All priced at 599.

Obviously nVidia's got the faster card now but the performance improvement is not huge.

Umm maybe they are waiting to see what Nvidia has before the R520 hits :rolleyes: or maybe they just want to perfect it. Nvidia have done the same in the past when ATi had smoked them.

I'd get the eVga or probably the XFX...

No special reason... but at resale time there's better chances of someone having the more common branded card!

well newegg has atleast 99 of two brands of them and they are only 50 bux more then current prices of x850xtpe and 6800 ultra so for 50 more bux i would say this is a good deal for 30-40% more speed then either of those cards!!!

wow nvidia blows ati out of the water for availability nvidia has cards one day after launch for sale at major retailers for the retail price at that!!!!!!!!!!!

ati 2 months later starts to trickle in with some x850xtpe for like 100-200 more bux then retail price!!! they just now settle down to retail price recently

availibility just makes me like this card alot more and because i missed last round of top end vga sticking it out with my 6600gt then i think i will get one of these 7800gtx and strap my waterblock on it and shoot for 10000 3dmark 05 without extreme cooling!!

that xfx comes with a free 50 dollar game pad so ill probably get that im a sucker for a freebee either that or wait a few weeks and pickup the first ones on newegg rma service for 100 bux less......

I agree. Perhaps their aggressiveness will help push prices down. Frankly I hate to rain on people's parade, but I think everyone will agree that these arent the cards to get just yet.

Im more interested in the 7800GT and 7800 flat. That will tell us a great deal more. Any ideas when that info will be released?

I would like to see 3dmark05 results at 1280x1024 4xAA 8xAF, or higher.
Then same from x850xt and 6800GTU.

At least CPU ain't then slowing down so much..

btw, maybe xtremesystems need new ranking for 3dmark at highres with AA and AF turned on ?
It's needed because no one has fast enough CPU :D

hey hans i belive it scores 11xxx in 3d05 in sli with 1600x1200 4xaa and 8xaf if that helps i remember that from some review i read in chineese ill look for it for you

I don't think all three sold out at the same time, I think nV is up to something, this is the fourth or fifth site that has recently taken down what they have.
