Will there be support for nvidia SLI option or will only ATI crossfire work ? Cause I know it is technicaly possiblebut will the nvidia driver support it or not ? I really wants to know this because I'm going to buy a new mainbord CPU and GFX but the ati r520 won't be out i time from what i've heard, so I was thinking of the nvidia 7800GTX but I also want to ber able to make a sli setup from it.
Looks great, except i don't really trust ati with their drivers.. especially Linux drivers :( Any idea if linux will support all the hardware on this board without using closed source drivers?
Does this board use a ULI or ATI Southbridge ?

are any other companies set to release a Grouper based board? I've seen DFI shots, Sapphire of course, how about Abit, ASUS, MSI? Not that it seems we need to look any further than this Sapphire, but it's nice to know options exist.

And why so much scepticism? ATI cards work in NF2/3/4 boards just fine. What's the big deal about SLI not working on this one if nVidia bothers to make the drivers for it
Yes Grouper has support for Dolby Digital. It has an optical output buried inside the audio connector. With the appropriate cable you can feed this into the optical in of a home theater receiver.
