weird stuff with my newer chip here's comparison break down so far on same MSI K8N Neo2 1.36mod bios with Corsair Hydrocool water cooling

3500+
CAA2C

0505 APMW vs 0507 GPMW

max pifast/superpi 1m stable
2918mhz at 1.73v vs 2846mhz at 1.74v

max 3dmark benchable
2805mhz at 1.6v for all 3dmarks except 3d2k3 vs 2846mhz at 1.73v

superpi 32m and prime/stresscpu stable max
2806mhz at 1.6v vs so far tested to 2806mhz at 1.66v but 1.6v isn't stable

So are you saying that it's stable with less volts? Maybe I'm not understanding you right.

I'd like to see some results with some sub-zero temps.

No offense, but I really wonder where do you get such information from...

I've had my Winnie @ 276x10 DDR552 6-2-2-2.0-1T 3.8v and 345x8 DDR690 7-3-4-2.5-1T 3.1v fully benchable... 3.7v is a brisk for this setup! so I don't know where do you get such information from :confused:

Becuase my winnie's mem controller died under 3.5v after a 24 hour burnin. Why do I think the clawhammers can handle it? Becuase I burned in on my FX-53 for 24hours at 3.6v with no problems. Becuase I could run 260x10 on the FX-53, while the winnie could not boot into windows at 1:1 above 210FSB.

Oh yeah, and an OCZ told me that this tends to happen to winnies.

I'm also aware of others who have run into similar problems with high vdimm/vcore.

3.15Ghz on a $267 NewCastle(cheaper if you did like me and sold the old NC to buy this one ;) ).................I wouldn't care if it took 10 volts..............I'm impressed. :D This is a "disposable" chip for me anyways, as it's just to tide me over till Venice/SanD are out in full force.

Seems the mem controller on these 3500+ CAA2C are pretty good my winnies with 2x512MB OCZ PC3700 Gold rev3 Hynix ram only did max 270mhz 2.5-3-3-8 1T at 2.8v fully stable and no more voltage helped while with my CAA2C 0505 APMW same ram is doing memtest so far at 275mhz 2.5-3-3-8 1T at 2.8v and 280mhz 2.5-3-3-8 1T at 2.9v so far on DFI NF4 SLI-D

FedEx lets you pick it up at the shipping center after all the delivery routes have returned from delivery (usually ~5-6pm). Otherwise, they'll try and deliver it again tomorrow. They'll give you a little slip that says the time they came by and if you sign the back of it and leave it at your front door it let's them know to leave it there even if no one is home. It's good and bad that they don't automatically leave the packages there. I know UPS always leaves packages at the front door.
