Let's hope for the great 8 ghz!!!
congrats!!!! I noticed it was @ hards front page, even he could deny, funny. maybe you'll get unbanned in the hard forums!!!
lmao how did he get banned?
That's amazing. :toast:
It was over incorrect benchmarks long ago.
any more luck on the clockgen, i woulda thought they'd be falling over themselves trying to get one out for you.......just to be a part of this insaneness.
Yep, I sent my pll dump yesterday.
Crazy mofo! :slobber:
Excellent work!
OCing has become a major hobby, manufacturers have to take notice.
I posted a thread on the H asking review sites to OC their MBs to the max FSB at 1:1. What a review site usually does, is OC the board on the stock heatsink, which only gets them maybe 10%. Or they reduce the multiplier, and raise the FSB, which doesn't prove much. For example, my Asus A8V can OC to 250 reduced multiplier, yet when I try to OC my FX53 at stock multiplier, I'm stuck at 230mz.
In future reviews, I want to see sites take a new MB, watercool a known good CPU, raise vcore, put known good memory in there, keep it at 1:1, default multiplier, and go for the highest FSB possible with a screen shot of SuperPi at 32M.
Forums like this one are the best source for OCing info, but it just irks me when I see a new MB reviewed, and the OC section is not a real world example.
Thumbs up!
Kudos Sirs!
Do you remeber Intel leaked (was it?) article showing 10Ghz Pentium CPU in lab conditions? ;)
woow that's awsome :toast:
Hehe.. I would like to know what camera FUGGER got :p:Quote:

It seems that the multiplier goes to 14 in idle
so 19*378 would be 14*378
The mad from x86 thinks that, he isnt only and there is a thread about this suggestion, thats an idea....
see&wait
Ps: only cpu-z with the 1.27 version can detect the new Enhanced Halt State (C1E)
We were working a bit on it yesterday to confirm the reported speed was correct and every test I was asked to perform came back correct.
I can set C1E bit in bios. It will force me to 14x and show correct speed.
We used various tools for testing that the speed was correct and it came out correct every time. If I select CPU #2 in 1.27 it shows the correct speed.
DFI did a good job on this bios, it could use a bit more options.
Look at my superpi at 5.9Ghz (18x328) then look at the WR at 6.2Ghz. There is no way that my machine is running at 4.5Ghz (14x328) (1.27 reported 4.5Ghz)
I will look into more at idle and run pi to see if the speed switches back to correct on version 1.27
If I select 1.9v in bios and try to boot at 7.22 the system will never post. If I increase it to 1.95v I post. If I reduce speed to ~ 7.0Ghz I can post at 1.9v.
so the speed is really 7.22 at post time or there isn't any way to verify it ?
U said you can post @ 7.0 any benchmarks @ 7.0?
I'm waiting for the same... 20s Super Pi would certainly be über l33t. :eek:Quote:

have cpu-z open before running super pi and monitor while running to see if it comes up while super pi is running?
does wcpuid realtime clock checker work?
well XS back in No.1 spot for single Ultra lolQuote:
