Okay, I am downloading it right now. A few more weeks and I will be able to go all out, one computer is all the current circutry in the basement can handle (damn). When it says Jeff has 35 nodes, does he actually have 35 computers running D²OL? Or just have 35 instances of it running?
I think just 35 instances
It probably is. With 2 Xeons with HT enabled, that would account as 4 nodes.
The only problem with the node thing is it's easy to loose them. I'd say about half of my nodes are inactive.
I'm loosing the 2x3.30GHz Xeon rig for a little while so I'll be down to the following...
UPDATED: February 17, 2005
Currently running D²OL:
2x3.01GHz Intel 1.6GHz LV Xeons (24/7)
2x3.01GHz Intel 1.6GHz LV Xeons (24/7)
2x3.32GHz Intel 2.4GHz LV Xeons (24/7)
2.17GHz AMD XP2100 (offsite, 24/7)
1.53GHz AMD XP1800 (offsite, almost 24/7)
1.7GHz AMD XP2000 (offsite, 24/7)
1.46GHz AMD XP1700 (offsite, 24/7)
2.0GHz AMD XP2400m (offsite, 24/7)
In the near future:
2.0GHz AMD XP2400 (offsite, almost 24/7)
2.0GHz AMD XP3200 (offsite, not 24/7)

I like to call 'em inhouse or outhouse. Unfortunately, in this project, I have no outhouses. :(
Looks like I might get my other 2500+ up and crunching quicker than I thought :) ... should be up sometime next week.. can't wait for the added boost in production.
within 1 week should have:
Athlon XP 2600-M @ 2.4 Ghz (almost 24/7 on weekdays, 24/7 on weekends)
Athlon XP 2500+ @ 2.0 Ghz (24/7)
Athlon XP 2500+ @ 2.2 Ghz (24/7)
Looks like it may be a while before I can get my A64 rig finished and crunching, though :(
That's doing good! You are definitely pumping out some candidates! Excellent!
dual xeons 1.6LV @3.2 soon 24/7
p4 2.0 24/7
^^^^^^
my teammate aka neighbour :P
I might be getting some "teammates" soon too... not sure how many but my daily production may increase sharply
P4 2.4B at 2.8 GHz running 24/7.
I will be adding more rigs as the money comes in.
I only started crunching today!

I just got a P3 setup from a friend, but the psu is fried. Is 300watts enough to run a p3? Here is the setup:
P3 700 @ 800
256 mb of PC133 ram
TYAN Tomcat i815T
Radeon 7000
2 120mm fans, CPU fan
1hdd, 1 cd drive, and a floppy drive
Here’s the psu I was thinking of getting
