I will never underestimate them, checking the best scores, Macci has a 36k score and OPP is ahead with a 38.4k and we all know how hard 40k is. Rickys cpu ocs way better than both of theirs

ricky's FX is a gem , i'm curious to know what this chip is capable in aircool , surely 2700-2800 mhz rock, stock vcore ,with stock heatsink.
What luck you had !!!!!
So incredible chip !! :slobber:
When i think my poor FX53 gives me only 2520 in aircool with 1.65v i want to cry :(
i'm sure my future FX55 will not give me the same
i think the luck is better than cascade cooling , ricky can owns most of the cascades/fx53 on the orb with this chip with just Mach2 or LS.
I wonder what ricky's fx would do with casade, 3.7GHz? I think he had 2.8GHz at 1.55v just a .5v bump for that. No other fx overclocks close to that and this is why I think he will have the 3dmark record for half a year till san diago comes

If you're going to spam nonsense, at least get your facts straight. I mean, how in the world would you know that an FX would take a 0.5V bump to reach a certain speed???
No need to be rude, I mistyped cascade. And its not .5v, its .05v and I know cause they said so in another post how much the volts was bumped. also I thought Ricky used a plain old prometeia which doesnt get as cold as cascase
geforce..i think u should read things better before comment! i dont post a lot here,but i read a lot:P
i think u should do the same... ;)

This FX-53 can do 3.1GHz with 1.85/1.9v on a Prometeia with R404a! :D
(On a Gigabyte K8NSNXP, and 3.1 with 1.8v on a Asus A8V.)
My FX-53 is one of the two wonderfull FX-53 that came to Aquapc! I got one and Pedro got the other! ;)

Nope, it is not, here is the proof: a picture of my FX53 taken by my friends Rui (Aquapc store owner) before I pick it at his store:Quote:

It was just a matter of luck, not hand picked at all (in fact Raptor get his FX first from the only 2 that came to the store ;) ) - I just picked a very good sample - already happend to me in the past :D
And a lesson to be learned, sometime is better to have the 2nd choice :D
When I arrived home, I do a quick test and get this with the AMD stock cooler

I tought: -my customary luck on CPU's worked again, but this one is sometihng special.
But the best luck of all is to have a fantastic friend like Ricky and their fantastic cascades to bench with my FX53 and other hardware, thanks Ricky you are The Best :toast:
After Ricky's get ethylene we bench again, when we finished to to reach our short term goals (I can not disclose what they are, but there some other benchs involved ;) ), I will mount this FX53 on my Prometeia and let you know the results - I expect somethinhg near 3.200Mhz with my 404a Promie :D
You all be informed, of course - stay tuned for more :D
why does the clockgen and cpu-z report different voltages?
Hows it going? any hints or updates? Is 42k within reach? :D
How is the quest to 42k going? we are curious, any updates? :D Oh I put your amazing achievement in my sig too, such an amazing score deserves top honors!
Nothing like living vicariously through others achievements. :)
not a bad score yourself hallowed, can you score higher? My cpu is only 60MHz higher than you and im so close to breaking 21k!
Score higher? Probably, that 20K is 10 months old.
At any rate, lets bug Pedro and Ricky until they make a 3600 MHz bench.
In this case, think you can pull 20.5k now? yea I agree on bugging.....err motivating them to break 42k and get 3.5GHz+ on the cpu and also max out their gpu :D
let them be...do you think they don't wanna bench??the only problem here, AFAIK, is the ethylene, that they still don't have...when it arrives, expect some serious benching in this little country by the sea ;)
I'm trying to hit 10k.
Congrats on 40, man!
I see Opp has just gone into 2nd place .. well done OPP :toast: Still a big gap though to the top.
Regards
Andy
Kunnak got a overclock modded bios for Gigabyte K8N Pro ... you can always ask him ;)

Thanks Kunaak ;)
Yes he does - http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8187151Quote:

Then we have to bench again, it is just a mater of time :D
:toast:
hmm, another 1.5k for opp still to go. he does hold the 3dmark2k3 and 3dmark2k5 titles... it will be interesting to see if he can hold all 3.
39k is not a bad score at all on 3.18GHz cpu power but I still think Pedro Rocha and Ricky's 42k score(either unpublished or havent achieved yet but possible) may stand till the San diagos begin to roll out which is what? March 2005? This is about 6 months after they broke 40k(42k possible) :slobber: 6 months is a matter of time ;) unless they wish to publish their 42k much sooner :D Its their call, everyone of your scores is amazing, even OPS's 39k leaves smiles everywhere! When you break 40k too, OPP with a San diago(or a reeeeeeeeeeeal lucky clawhammer fx53/55) I can add my honors to your sig like I did with ricky and pedro :D
