Okay, now where is the 3570K?
some results are wrong. It could be bad OC settings of FX or wron programs (old version etc). Example is POV-RAY or Blender (clock for clock is FX-83xx as the same results as i7-3770k with 8 threads in POV Ray 3.7 last RC)
FlanK3r check POV ray Chess 2(it`s POV Ray 3.7 last RC and scene is 8 threads ) scene not benchmark, bleder 2.64a you have two scenes 8t and 4TOC was 23x200 how it can be wrong? When you touch cpu multiplier and voltage only.
no...with FX you can not change only voltage and multiplier...There is APM master settings which (if is it at auto or enabled) throtling your CPU in high stress. Example you overclocking FX at 4600 MHz, but without disabled APMM your cores running at 4600, 3400,4600,4600, 3400,3400,4600. So "half" of cores will be throtling. If your current cosnumption of CPU with good cooling will OK, thtotling can begining example from 4400 MHz up
I honestly don't get those graphs at all  Which CPU is the baseline and umh, what about the rest?
Hi all; im' trying to find a good clock setting for DU ( 8350+CHV -Z) what LLC setting can be used? 0%? 25% ? I want good performance but i don't want to fry my chip in 1 year :-)

4.5 GHz will be "easy" with this mobo. LLC can you set at medium.
True story.
Just after I got my 8350 I was making myself crazy trying to figure out why a few tests at 5.0Ghz had worse results than when run at "stock". I had disabled the Turbo Core settings and I made sure C'n'Q was disabled... but I hadn't realized that the APM setting also had to be disabled or it would throttle down a few Ghz under stress.
I had just moved from Deneb on an AM2+ board; I had "kind of" heard of this issue before... but I hadn't really paid too much attention when this was discussed after the original FX was released.
But it makes a huge difference on some tests.
Idiot only overclock with APM-on fx cpu and do review.I am not idiot.
Do you understand these graphs?

If yes then you should understand my graphs.
2500K is baseline.
Add 5% worse for 8350 all results for approx. 3570K results.
AMD Fanboy anti-intel combat team moving in in 3...2... oh wait they already did.
I love overclocking these, I hate their performance in most real-world consumer applications.
Fx-8350 does pretty well in Far Cry 3

I don't think so
nice bottleneck for high end cards

I was happy when I switch cpu. Wasn't fun to play.MY HD7970 got wings:eek:
Don't tell that to Informal.
I ment the fx-8350 does well in terms of Amd processors lol
U got link for that review?
Why? And why you have a need to call me out ever so often? I didn't even post in this thread lately. But if it makes you feel better then it's fine I guess.
@Maxforces
Are you sure you don't see any throttling with your 8350? I know you are not a "newb overclocker",just asking. It might be that FC3 sees a bottleneck, that's not impossible. It's jut one game(even if it's few games, who cares?). People do some serious work with their PCs too ,not just play games ;).
I am 100% sure. This is NOT only one game.
Review made by my friend not me.

come on man. be objective NOT FB.
the difference is the filtering used
SSAO is being used as middle ground here.
HDAO, HDAO was developed by AMD
HBAO, HBAO by Nvidia
FXAA
MSAA
Ambient Occlusion settings seem to be difference for best performance of hardware.
It's not so bad that the CPU bottlenecks past a 660/7850. Bear in mind that the average buyer (such as myself) will not spend more than ?150 on a GPU anyway. I think also that an FX-6300 at 4.7GHz would give the same results on these charts, and I've seen that go for ?90 on offer, which is incredible value.
im jsut glad the FX-8350 is the top tier Amd chip now at least for gaming, theres very little doubt now.

you don`t see guru3d review is GPU limited
FX8320 4.8GHz and hd7970 you can take advil at least four tablets. (FX cpu meant to not be played)
if you doubt I can make video from two systems.
CPU is good in rendering , 8T programs, that's all. Games are the weakest point of the FX 8320/50 . The person must be a desperado to combine high-performance graphics card with this processor.Basically a person loses the money spent on H-P card.
