Blue mean machine cascade

Thank you Ron , sorry for the late reply , i just came back from the Hospital Emergency Room :/ , i had an accident today while working on the cascade i almost lost one finger , Finger bone its fracture in half , nail its gone off the finger and i have my finger re-atached to me , they did a small surgery and stich it up back to where it belongs. It happens while checking the PSI in the gauges of the cascade i was lying down flat on the floor with one hand holding my magnifying glass looking at the Gauge meter while the other hand was holding on to the case of the cascade towards the back , guess what , DeltaL1212 221CFM Screamers are very dangerous as i have 2 of them heling cooling the 2 compresors , one was close to my hand , it was attached with Zip ties to the cart that carries the cascade , it broke the Zip ties with such a violent force that landed in my finger and chopped it off , Oh Lord ! Blood everywhere all over the placeand my middle finger was hanging by a tiny piece of skin only. No joke , it chopped my finger off. I totally forgot how dangerous were those Delta High RPM Big Fans , im under medication will post back maybe tomorrow after comng back from the Doctor appointment. Big Fat Delta Fan almost cost me a finger :(,

Fan grills. Cost 2 bucks. I use them for safety but also to stop wires from hitting blades and making noise.
Sorry about your finger, just tell chicks a better story about the scar than " one night i was working on my computer".

Im off to the Veterans Hospital to see the Surgery Team today , they might place a couple of screws and 2 small plates if the bone dont stick together :/ ,@ Bill the fan its alright bro no damage to it :D hahahaha... silly u :D. Ron thanks for the prayers man i needed it. @ Ozzfest0 , yes i was careless , i will buy a few good fan grills for safety so that this does not happen again thank you. @Noob of l1337 thank you bro. @ Dummo , thnks bro , yes this Big Fat Monster Delta High RPM fan indeed are very dangerous , i got so use to it and i was in such a hurry to get this cascade tune yesterday it was my entirely fault of what happenned. Nothing I will still work later today in the cascade , this accident wont stop me until i get the Cascade running correctly the best i can , Im under heavy very strong drugs pain killers Percocet + Tylenol with Codeine , but if i can bare with this big pain i wont take it this afternnon so that i can work on the cascade , the finger its stictch well + i have a metal splinter holding my finger in place so it won fall off :p: , i will be very very carefull and will take my sweet ass time working slowly on it later today. Will ask for help on the cascade tuning later guys when i come back from the DR. appointment. See you guys later.

Yeah these fans do scare me also. I remember running a Delta on a Mega Shadow air cooler, the thing sounded like a F-16 spooling up. I did put fan guards on mine tho and on every build that I did that used them. I also strapped them down well good so they could not take off flying.

Take care man, the cascade is not worth hurting yourself over.

A long time ago I bought a box of 100x 120mm wire grills on ebay for $8-9. And I've never NOT put one on each side of a fan while working on a project.
It's just too dangerous not to. Sometimes I don't put them on single stages though if its a minimal risk situation. But damn, now they're all getting em.

Good news they dont have to do no more surgerys in my finger:) seems like the bone and finger its sticking in place and started to heal quick , thanks Lord ! The pain has ease up , im back working on the Cascade today but slowly and with great care , i found 3 fan grills i had lying around in one of my hardware box and the delta fans have fan grills now. Will report how it goes the tuning later. I will need some guidance later on today , im going to take a little more gas out of the second stage , just a little bit and test as it was fill to the max with R404 , maybe why the swing in temperatures due to too much gas. Im happy today.

The first small surgery was good enough to hold the finger in place so a second surgery was not needed , im proud of the service The Veterans Hospital has provided to me , awsome service and great medical care , im 100% Service connected after been wounded in combat in the Persian Gulf war with my unit 82nd Airborne Division, so they do really care a lot about my health and services. Success ! , after a lot of tuning finally I got the max i could out of the mixture of gases i worked with :up: -77c iddle , full load -72.5c 3770k 5.7Ghz 1.66v , short test only 2 hours , holding like a champ :yepp:. After all it paid off. This Cascade used to iddle at -114c with ethilene in second stage, not too bad now using R404 , i lost -37c temps but im happy with it at -77c , im done finally , repaired complete. Cascade fully resurrected from the dead :D.

Bill ( Buckeye ) I will be sending you the load tester next week , it helped me tuning the cascade a lot, thank you so much

Thats a Christmas gift from me and my family to you , for been there for me all the way tuning and fixing the cascade :up:, if it wasn't for you lending me the load tester the cascade would not be tuned and turned out as good as it did. I hope you enjoy it the Brazo Gitano ( That one was filled with Fresh Guava Fruit Filling 100% natural fresh fruit from Puerto Rico ). Thank you for all the help , appretiate it. Bad News and Good News !

Bad News , My Blue Cascade stopped working correctly due to heavy and very fast swing in temperatures all of the sudden :/ it became unusable 3 weeks ago. My friends at the AC repair shop were unable to work on it and or diagnose , neither i have the expertise to diagnose whats wrong with it :/

Good News , I sent the Blue Cascade to SDumper ( Scott ) , 2 1/2 weeks ago , arrived there in 3 days , he diagnosed and checked the Cascade , re-gas propperly with R1150 Ethilene :D and load testing was done as per Scott , now its about to be shipped back to me in like brand new conditions when it was made over 2 years ago by SDumper , as per Scott( copy/paste message) " Unloaded -107c 300 watts -98c " :up: that good news made my day right there , im happy :yepp: , brought it back to full temperatures as it was before , im happy and anxiously waiting for receiveing my fully repair Blue Cascade. I hope this time will last me over 2 years of fun , will post results after i receive the cascade next week !

300W @ -98?C, that's mighty. My 2x MP14FB (2x 1/2 HP) can do ~ 300W at mere -86?C :)

Good News my Blue Cascade will be shipped today back to Puerto Rico :up:

Wish I could have sent this quicker but I have two production cascades that had to go out this week.
Good news is the oil problem on the production units is completely eliminated :)
