i think coming, but in limited series, we must waiting few days :( ....
If you guys were planning on seeing this at newegg, I wouldn't hold your breath. These chips are the cream of the crop and VERY limited in supply. Your best bet in getting one is to show AMD how good of a tweaker you are.
So this means, i have to spend gazillion on new hw, break few WR's and then i might get permission to buy one? Or i will have to tweak my setup, squeez every mhz out of it, and then tweak os to get some nice numbers ?
Or is this just a PR trick and they ship twkr Cpu's to enthustiast OC legends?
just give me half of this cpu and that will fulfill my needs. oh, and half of a 4890. ok thanx :p
Oh come on, haven't we waited long enough for the results of this CPU already? Out with it already.
nothing... it sux
How about Intel release a 6-core Pentium 4 on 32nm process with 12 threads, called "TITWKR" (This Is The W-a-n-K-e-R) edition? And it can clock to 10GHz at sub-zero temps while consuming over 300W?
Oh ma gawds like! 10Jigawatts 6core Intel CPU!!!
I needs it for playing the SIMS!
I was told that the CPU wasn't for sale, but they could have changed their minds later....

Reverse effect in Photoshop or fake.. who knows
We will see more details 30th of June :)
5.3 is possible, but why would they make that std. frekvens so high that its impossible to use with non-xtreme cooling?
3.4 or 3.5 is closer i guess
Eh... I honestly find this pretty cool, assuming it does actually come out.
Maybe I just like the idea of companies hand picking better silicon for their consumers that want to pay a little (or in this case, probably a lot) more.
I know it's obviously done with processors, which is how higher tiers are created, but to specially cater to enthusiasts is just neat, in my opinion.
This reminds me of those video cards... What was it, the 2900XTs or something? The special editions, came with a lifetime warranty, a briefcase box to keep them in... Ah, I can't remember for the life of me. It was a very limited edition of ATI cards.
