i tested in X9 before to test in X10 under ln2 :(

sounds wicked, but 1.55VTT is ya like Pieter says
I still havenīt had any problems using very high PLL and VTTs with Gigabyte Boards.
Mine can do 615 Max only for suicide shot.
600 is possible but not for 3DMark.
Stable for all kind of benching goes around 560 only.
Maybe Im missing something.
Memory BTW is good. Iīve got 700MHz with Team Group which I couldnīt with any mobo before.
Fantastic FSB. Nice job
VTT had nothing to do with the failure of the CPU.
It was a plain and simple vcore bug that pumped waaaay too much volts into the chip while it wasnt cold.
1.55VTT is child's play compared to what i run
VTT did not kill your chip
it was vcore
Been struggling with this board for the last hour or so. I can get 525FSB to post with my golden E8600 but anything above that is an instant crash. Can you guys doing 600FSB tell me the following?
CPU/MCH Skews?
FSB holes?(I think 400-433 is bugged, never boots for me)
MCH Latch used? 333MHz is proving to be far more stable than 400MHz
Performance Enhance used? Turbo(default) works better than Disabled or Extreme
I'm using 6x multi and the following volts on the QX9650 cooler. This CPU was doing 600+FSB with the EP45T-Extreme on air and the memory does DDR2-1240 CAS4 so I assume it must be the board.
vCore: 1.30v
vMCH: 1.50v
vDIMM: 2.10v
did anybody try Oc using e8400 E0 stepping?
Mine went back for RMA to EGG .. could NOT hold any volts , clock, FSB with any consitensity , under clocked the Q9650 no matter what & yes I turn off all the CPU throttling settings , even ran everything on auto & still was the sh*t , swapped out 3 different types of RAM , 3 different vid cards , even swapped the PSU ... would not enter O/S at 400 FSB & when it did get into windows the clock kept changing every 60 seconds up/down NewEGG rma's gonna refund the mobo & i ordered another . I get it wed. OR thursday............
Has anyone tried fitting Thermalright HR-09 Mosfet Coolers to this board yet ?
http://www.thermalright.com/new_a_pa...s/image004.jpg
If not can someone please measure the base plate width & length of the mosfet heatsink on the top edge of the board, and any clearance gap between the base of the heatsink and the chokes.
thanks
i got my QX6850 to 503fsb @ 1.39v 4Ghz, i got my 2nd Q9650 so i will pop that in today and see if i can get higher FSB.
CPUz
isnt that 3dmark06 score kindda low..
could have sworn that i got higher with 790/1100 on a gainward GS 1gb 4870 at 4.264ghz..
oops sorry i meant to TS.
I have mine running 460 x 9 on my e8400. Will have a x3330 here this week to test.
G.Skill super PI f2-8800cl5d-4gbpi = ddr21100 (tried 4 gb & then 8 gb of each) & g.Skill ddr2-1066 & ddr2-1000 both 2 gb a stix no change on the the board with any of them , ALL still acted the same on the mobo .. dod memory test on all they passed & all worked fine on my Rampage Formula mobo's ... moBo was just not acting right from the start
Installed a UD3P tonight and at last ive managed to boot at 500FSB with my Q9650 which i couldnt get near with my Asus boards. (booted @ 515x6)
Ive left nearly everything on auto in the bios (which i read most people were doing) which imressed me but then ive just installed easytune and looking at that its raised some of voltages to scary levels:eek: which probably explains the 500FSB.

Its not stable at all, it will run prime small FFT for a few mins before BSOD but blend fails instantly.
Is this a cpu wall or some ram issue ? Im running 4GB OCZ flex 9200 ram.
